" Gu Jiuli and Zhu Yi's game began. He Liang felt a pang of jealousy when she heard others mistake Gu Jiuli for Yang Panpan's boyfriend, but couldn't say anything. Gu Jiuli won against Zhu Yi.
Yang Panpan immediately went forward to give him water. Gu Jiuli saw He Liang run off from the edge of the crowd and quickly clarified the misunderstanding with Yang Panpan, telling her He Liang was his girlfriend, and everything before was just a misunderstanding. He Liang was there to comfort Zhu Yi. Zhu Yi was jealous because of Gu Jiuli and pressed He Liang on who was more important, him or Gu Jiuli.
He Liang quickly explained they were different, and that Zhu Yi was like family to her. He Liang shyly told Zhu Yi that she and Gu Jiuli had gotten together last week. Zhu Yi was very unhappy upon hearing this. Gu Jiuli chased after them and took He Liang's hand to assert his claim, warning Zhu Yi that he and He Liang were just ordinary friends, and that she was now his girlfriend.
To get back at him, Zhu Yi specifically reminded He Liang about the matter on Friday. He Liang knew it was the live stream and quickly stopped him from speaking further. Gu Jiuli pressed her on what was happening on Friday. He Liang stammered that it was Zhu Yi's mother's birthday and they were just going to buy a gift and have dinner together. Gu Jiuli returned home dejected.
He was certain He Liang was hiding something from him and wasn't even in the mood when Han Yijie showed him the company team-building VCR. However, Han Yijie watched the part where He Liang sang in the VCR and thought her voice sounded very familiar. After multiple comparisons, Han Yijie finally confirmed that He Liang was A Dai. Yang Panpan and Zhu Yi, both feeling down, bumped into each other and didn't forget to exchange a few barbs.
To ease her heartbreak, Yang Panpan went to a bar and met Zhu Yi again. Although their emotions were initially intense upon meeting, the stirrings of the music and alcohol led them both to get drunk. Yang Panpan didn't understand why Gu Jiuli didn't understand her. Since she was little, she had been called a princess; everyone doted on her and liked her, but Gu Jiuli specifically liked He Liang.
Han Yijie brought a thoughtful breakfast to Chen Yibai and admitted he knew about A Dai, but he wanted to know why He Liang hadn't told Gu Jiuli about it. He Liang explained the reason. Han Yijie was, of course, on her side. He Liang also knew she couldn't keep it from Gu Jiuli forever, but she didn't know when to come clean. When He Liang received Han Yijie's message, she thought Gu Jiuli was going to cause trouble for Zhu Yi and hurried back to school.
