> My Poseidon Recap

Ye Hai, having returned from the small island, immediately went to see An Fei. He led her to his grandfather's old house and into a hidden room behind a bookshelf, calling it his most cherished place. He explained that he brought her there to show her everything, signifying she was truly family, and urged her not to be angry.

However, An Fei's anger stemmed not from his refusal to lend the island, but from his concealment of the truth that the island belonged to him. Ye Hai countered that he had anticipated her reaction, believing she would always side with Mo Liang in any conflict. He accused her of seeking him out only because Mo Liang wanted to borrow the island, an accusation An Fei denied, asserting they were separate matters.

Ye Hai then definitively stated that lending the island was "impossible," adding that "there was no hope for this problem, no negotiation at all." The argument intensified as Ye Hai, frustrated, criticized her environmental protection principles, pointing out the hypocrisy of using everyday items that consumed resources while advocating for environmentalism. He noticed the starfish he had given her, which she still carried, and commented on her unspoken feelings despite her stated care for Mo Liang.

An Fei, tired of the argument, declared that Mo Liang would forever be an important person in her life. Ye Hai, exasperated, left her alone in the room. Left alone, An Fei explored the secret room. She picked up a book and read the myth of Amphitrite, the Sea Queen, and her wait for Poseidon, only to learn later of his affair with Medusa and their war against Athena.

Later, while looking through an old photo album, she found Ye Hai's childhood pictures, noting how cute he was then, and wondering why he had changed. That evening, back at their rental apartment, An Fei promised Ye Hai that she would no longer argue with him about the island, assuring him he wasn't obligated to lend it.

Pleased, Ye Hai told her he would get her anything she desired, even the stars, but explained that his grandfather's legacy, the island, was a complicated matter that he couldn't simply hand over. An Fei embraced him, understanding his position and promising not to bring up the issue again. Ye Hai, delighted, made her promise not to lie. The next morning, An Fei woke up feeling conflicted.

She worried about how to face Mo Liang and the laboratory, having conceded to Ye Hai. She even considered faking an illness or an injury to avoid going to the lab, but ultimately found herself unable to fabricate an excuse. An Fei eventually made her way to the laboratory, where Mo Liang immediately confronted her about her absence, calling her unorganized and undisciplined, and jokingly threatening disciplinary action.

An Fei apologized, admitting she had felt lost and guilty towards everyone after her conversation with Ye Hai. Mo Liang clarified that he never wanted her to intercede with Ye Hai on the island matter. He firmly stated that he would find Ye Hai and discuss it with him personally, emphasizing that it was a problem between them, and he didn't want anyone else involved, especially An Fei, as he would find his own solution.

Meanwhile, Liu Lan, deeply concerned about Mo Liang's health, asked him if he was affected by An Fei's relationship with Ye Hai. Before Mo Liang could fully respond, he was struck by a severe headache, nearly fainting. He dismissed it as mere fatigue from lack of rest, unaware of the seriousness of his condition. Liu Lan, however, sensed his vulnerability and promised to always stand by him. Liu Lan, consumed by worry for Mo Liang, reflected on her past.

Three years prior, when her Naples experiment catastrophically failed, Jiang Zhi had appeared, offering to manage the fallout and protect her from the investigative staff. This act, though seemingly helpful at the time, had since given Jiang Zhi leverage over her. In the present, Liu Lan confronted Jiang Zhi, declaring her refusal to remain under his control.

She stated she no longer cared about her reputation or success, even if he exposed her three-year-old secret; Mo Liang's well-being was all that mattered. Jiang Zhi, however, reminded her of his past assistance and then appealed to Mo Liang's deep-seated desire to complete his research. He argued that if she truly wanted to help Mo Liang, she should aid him in fulfilling his ambition to exploit hydrogen.

With Ye Hai unwilling to lend the island, Jiang Zhi suggested an alternative: seeking assistance from Ye Tian, Ye Hai's older brother. He instructed Liu Lan to arrange a meeting with Ye Tian. Ye Hai's assistant, Duang Xiche, informed him that Jiang Zhi had invited him to participate in a TV program, likely intending to use public opinion to pressure him regarding the island and the laboratory.

Ye Hai, however, decided not to immediately refuse the invitation, preferring to wait and observe Jiang Zhi's next move. Meanwhile, Jiang Zhi met with Ye Tian, flattering his managerial prowess while subtly implying that Han Hai's decision-making power had fallen to someone less engaged, clearly referring to Ye Hai. This provoked Ye Tian, who expressed his fury over Ye Hai's actions and their impact on the company's shares.

Liu Lan later informed Lin Anhua via phone that Jiang Zhi had contacted Ye Tian and would find a solution, relieving Lin Anhua, who had been concerned about the laboratory's situation. Jiang Zhi, in turn, demanded entry into the Poseidon laboratory as a condition for his assistance in securing the island. Jiang Zhi then appeared on the TV program, publicly challenging Ye Hai to a discussion on green energy.

He questioned if Ye Hai dared to participate, aiming to use the platform to pressure him. Lin Anhua subsequently brought Jiang Zhi into the Poseidon laboratory for a progress report from Mo Liang and Liu Lan. Simultaneously, Ye Tian arrived with members of Han Hai Group's Board of Directors. Liu Lan presented the findings, confirming hydrogen exists beneath the island and could be extracted, but reiterated the obstacle of Ye Hai's private ownership.

Jiang Zhi then spoke about the inevitable trend of new energy exploration, subtly leading up to Ye Tian's move. Ye Tian seized the opportunity, presenting a recorded video clip of Ye Hai walking the streets in a diving suit and flippers, portraying his brother as prone to violence and mentally unstable.

He claimed to have previously kept this information private to protect family matters but felt compelled to reveal it for the sake of the research, urging the board to reconsider Ye Hai's ownership of the island. Lin Anhua immediately objected, asserting that the island still legally belonged to Ye Hai and his personal conduct was irrelevant to its ownership. Ye Tian countered that until Ye Hai officially endorsed his inheritance rights, the island was not legally his private property.

During this intense meeting, An Fei received crucial information from her assistant, A Ming, who had overheard discussions about plans to deal with Ye Hai. An Fei immediately called Ye Hai, warning him that Ye Tian and his team were at the laboratory, conspiring against him and attempting to use his past "psychological problems" against him. Ye Hai, now with An Fei, acknowledged her concern, jokingly lamenting how everyone seemed to be ganging up on him. He then reassured her not to worry, promising to resolve the situation himself.
