Later, when Ding Xiaorou showed SA Yi a photo of Zheng Ze, SA Yi commented that Zheng Ze must like Ding Xiaorou very much to capture her so beautifully, but then sarcastically attributed the good photo to a "Nice Beauty Camera." Ding Xiaorou rushed over, where a mob of fans surrounded her for photos and requests to be "cursed." SA Yi helped maintain order as they struggled to manage the overwhelming crowd.
After a long ordeal, the customers were finally dispersed. SA Yi canceled her work for two days to stay with and comfort Ding Xiaorou, who was distraught. Ding Xiaorou, hearing about the missing surveillance, suspected foul play.
While SA Yi went out to buy her favorite "Dai Fei ice cream" as a distraction, Ding Xiaorou secretly left to find evidence herself. Meanwhile, Zheng Ze, taking proactive steps, enlisted professionals to conduct an in-depth online analysis of the "Night Gate" scandal, supporting Chi Xin and Ding Xiaorou by exposing flaws in the doctored video. Chi Xin successfully obtained surveillance video evidence from a Japanese restaurant opposite the hotel, capturing clear footage of the incident.
As he prepared to return to the company for a press conference, Ding Xiaorou also arrived at the same hotel seeking evidence. The hotel staff informed her that a tall man with big eyes, whom she recognized as Chi Xin, had already been there to review the footage. Shortly after these events, Zheng Ze contacted SA Yi, attempting to confess his feelings for her.
He explicitly stated that he had "nothing to do with that Ding Xiaorou" and that "she just wishfully insists on sticking to me." He then asked SA Yi to be his girlfriend. Disgusted by his words and his dismissal of Ding Xiaorou, SA Yi fiercely rejected him, calling him "trash" and asserting that "Ding Xiaorou is such a nice girl, how could she fall for trash like you?"
