Chacha saw the three of them go out for training in the morning, but didn't see Bai Yongze. After much deliberation, she still ran to Bai Yongze's room to see him. Bai Yongze said that he had no interest in anything now. Song Chacha had a flash of inspiration and pulled Bai Yongze out. They came to a waterfall in the mountains. Chacha said that when her brother died, her father brought her here to relax.
Legend has it that there is a swimming hero here who will protect the people in the water and keep them safe. She hoped Bai Yongze could swim freely like a fish, just like the swimming hero in her heart. Bai Yongze seemed to understand something, and his heart calmed down, no longer swayed by fame and fortune. On their way back from training, Lan Tian and the other two met Bai Yongze and Song Chacha.
Everyone was angry that Bai Yongze skipped practice and was on a date. Luo Guanjie scoffed at him a few times and then left. Lan Tian told Song Chacha that she had already registered for the chef training class and urged her to go back and study. Song Chacha wanted to explain to Bai Yongze, but Bai Yongze also advised her to go back quickly. Chacha said she would leave after watching the competition.
The day of the mixed relay race quickly arrived. All four were ready. Luo Guanjie, Jiang Shi, and Lan Tian swam hard through the first three legs. When it was Bai Yongze's turn, he clutched his chest and ran away. Song Chacha had already packed her bags, ready to leave. She was worried about Bai Yongze, so she went to see him one last time. Unexpectedly, she found Bai Yongze lying on the grass halfway.
She was anxious, hugged him, and tears flowed unconsciously. She urged Bai Yongze to be honest with everyone, but Bai Yongze firmly disagreed. After the competition, everyone was waiting for Bai Yongze's explanation. Bai Yongze came before them, looking exhausted, saying he had nothing to say, and even knelt to apologize to the coach, stating he was ready to retire. Luo Guanjie took the lead in demanding Bai Yongze's withdrawal.
All other teammates sided with him, asking the coach to choose between Bai Yongze and them. The coach was furious and said, "I'll leave, alright?" After the coach packed his luggage, the door was blocked by Luo Guanjie and Jiang Shi. He couldn't get out at all and angrily kicked the door. Song Chacha told Lan Tian that Bai Yongze had his reasons, but she couldn't say what they were. As a good friend, Lan Tian should understand Bai Yongze.
Lan Tian had wanted to find out what was wrong with Bai Yongze, but still failed. In the pouring rain, Bai Yongze was still kneeling outside the coach's window. Lan Tian also came over and knelt with him. Lan Tian said he forgave him for Song Chacha's sake. The two of them shouted "Sorry, Coach" loudly towards the window. Soon, all the teammates joined in, and the scene was very touching. Coach Huang's eyes welled up with tears.
He yelled at the boys, "Go back to sleep, no training tomorrow!" Everyone excitedly jumped up and hugged each other, throwing Bai Yongze into the air in the heavy rain. The next day, while everyone was waiting for Bai Yongze to train, they all received a text message. Bai Yongze said that he used to only think that gold medals and championships were the most important, but being with everyone made him understand what teamwork and friendship truly are.
He especially thanked everyone for making him understand what a true athlete is. After seeing the message, Song Chacha said she would go bring Bai Yongze back. Bai Yongze had just packed his bags and stepped out when he received a call from Song Chacha. Chacha kept saying "I like you," and then came before Bai Yongze, confidently confessing to him, "I like you." Bai Yongze wasn't very surprised.
He told Song Chacha that it wasn't love, but just sympathy, and not to confuse her feelings. Song Chacha hugged Bai Yongze from behind as he was about to leave, asking him to continue being her swimming hero and to give her some time to figure things out. Everyone waited for a long time, but Bai Yongze still didn't return. Instead, they saw Li Bao and her agent arrive.
Jiang Shi's eyes nearly popped out when he saw Li Bao; he was a loyal fan of hers. Lan Tian sent a text message to Song Chacha. Song Chacha replied that she was fine and with Bai Yongze. Lan Tian again showed a jealous expression. Song Chacha and Bai Yongze were drinking on the beach. Bai Yongze still told Song Chacha that there was no love between them and that Song Chacha had mistaken her feelings.
Song Chacha was angry at Bai Yongze's self-righteous ideas, stood up, and kissed him on the mouth. Bai Yongze couldn't help but stand up and pull Song Chacha close to him. The two were immersed in each other's sweet kisses, with Song Chacha's arms wrapped around Bai Yongze's waist.
