Lu Wanwan, hesitant to admit the truth to Lu Guanghan, falsely claimed he had simply guessed her relationship. Lu Guanghan was not easily convinced, yet he did not expose her on the spot. Later, he advised Lu Wanwan that she could flirt with Han Jingmo, but warned her not to get serious. He emphasized that while their mother was a fan of Han Jingmo, their father (Old Lu) disliked him.
Lu Wanwan immediately affirmed her love for Han Jingmo, confirming their relationship and hoping for Lu Guanghan's blessing. Lu Guanghan cautioned her about the demanding nature of public relationships, but Lu Wanwan, in turn, urged him not to be overly anxious and to live in the moment. Lu Guanghan agreed not to interfere but insisted she not cry if they eventually broke up. Lu Wanwan, however, dismissed this notion, reiterating her desire for immediate gratification.
She also encouraged Lu Guanghan to pursue a relationship, lest he grow old. Lu Wanwan then playfully teased Lu Guanghan about Gu Qiaobei, but Lu Guanghan distinguished Gu Qiaobei from Han Jingmo, praising Gu Qiaobei's artistic pursuits and passion for acting before quickly dismissing the topic and remarking on Lu Wanwan's stubborn temperament. The following day, Lu Wanwan chatted with Gu Qiaobei and Han Jingmo. Gu Qiaobei invited Lu Wanwan to dinner, expressing concern for her leg injury.
Lu Wanwan feigned uncertainty to Lu Guanghan, who emphatically told her to go, even if she had to crawl. At the restaurant, Han Jingmo showed immense care for Lu Wanwan, ensuring her comfort, much to the notice of those around them. When Gu Qiaobei arrived, Lu Guanghan’s expression immediately became nervous, yet his eyes lit up with excitement. Gu Qiaobei briefly retreated to confirm the room number before re-entering and settling beside Lu Guanghan.
The two men raised their glasses in a toast, while Lu Wanwan deliberately showed affection towards Han Jingmo. Lu Guanghan then excused himself to take a call, and Gu Qiaobei followed, using the opportunity to apologize for his previous emotional behavior and inappropriate words. Lu Guanghan, unfazed, waved off the apology, signaling their reconciliation. Inside the room, Guan Yiwei eagerly pressed Lu Wanwan to contact Zhao Jinghang. Lu Wanwan, however, was unsure how to summon him.
Han Jingmo cleverly suggested telling Zhao Jinghang that he and Lu Wanwan were getting married and wanted him to be the best man, certain that this would make Zhao Jinghang appear. Meanwhile, news outlets were abuzz with reports of Lu Wanwan's injury. Xia Linxi publicly clarified that she was not responsible. Lu Wanwan briefly wondered about the true culprit but soon dismissed the thought as too complicated, opting instead to focus on an 8 PM game invitation.
That evening, everyone gathered online for the wedding of Chu He's apprentice, Young Master. Ink White arrived late, acknowledging that everyone had been too busy to log in frequently. However, Chu Qianlan appeared very late, explaining she couldn't marry because she was ill, in the hospital, and about to undergo surgery. Her explanation was met with skepticism, as no one believed someone truly sick enough for surgery could be online gaming. Chu Qianlan offered a brief excuse and left.
Young Master considered canceling the wedding announcement, but Lu Guanghan suggested postponing it and citing the bride's illness, reasoning that the public wouldn't truly care about the rescheduled date. With their friends' support, Young Master's spirits lifted. News reports continued to speculate about Lu Wanwan's swift rise, attributing it to powerful backing. On set, Lu Wanwan encountered Xia Linxi, and from their conversation, realized Xia Linxi had feelings for Lu Guanghan.
A delighted Lu Wanwan decided she would "blackmail" Lu Guanghan upon her return. Back at their residence, as Lu Wanwan and Han Jingmo were about to embrace, Lu Wanwan spontaneously decided to test Han Jingmo. She immediately suggested they play a game. Han Jingmo demonstrated exceptional and unique gaming maneuvers, leaving Lu Wanwan stunned by his skill. She observed that his playing style was entirely different from Ink White's, concluding that her earlier suspicions had been unfounded.
Elsewhere, Zhao Jinghang arrived in Europe, only to be discovered by Guan Yiwei. Upon seeing her, Zhao Jinghang fled, with Guan Yiwei in hot pursuit, heels clicking. At dinner with some crew members, Song Chi revealed that the day's filming halt was orchestrated to identify the person who had harmed Lu Wanwan. She explained that the individual spreading negative rumors about Lu Wanwan and the one who caused her fall were the same person, operating within the crew.
Song Chi, acting under Lu Guanghan's instruction, admitted to intentionally spreading the rumor that Lu Guanghan had stayed in Lu Wanwan's room the previous night, knowing it would provoke the culprit to attempt to photograph them, thus leading to their capture. Overhearing this, Yan Shengkai rushed to a hotel to warn Zhang Qiang not to secretly photograph, calling it a trap. Unbeknownst to her, she was walking into a "trap within a trap."
A hidden camera in Zhang Qiang's room was transmitting footage directly to Lu Guanghan's room, exposing Yan Shengkai's true nature. It was then revealed that Yan Shengkai was the mastermind behind everything. Han Jingmo was credited with high intelligence and insight for uncovering Zhang Qiang as a mere "tool man," effectively solving a major problem for the crew and rescuing Lu Wanwan from a difficult situation.
Song Chi praised Han Jingmo, explaining that Yan Shengkai's extreme caution, using only cash transactions and ambiguous messages with Zhang Qiang, necessitated the elaborate "catch a turtle in a jar" scheme. Lu Guanghan's staged visit to Lu Wanwan's room was essential to the deception. The conversation also brought to light that Yan Shengkai had meticulously orchestrated Guan Yiwei's car accident, having fooled many, including Li Weiqian. With the matter finally resolved, everyone raised a toast.
Han Jingmo thanked Lu Guanghan for his assistance, to which Lu Guanghan replied that it was all for Lu Wanwan. Lu Guanghan then stated that while he admired Han Jingmo as a company boss, as Lu Wanwan's brother, he could not yet accept their relationship. Han Jingmo acknowledged this, expressing his resolve to change Lu Guanghan's mind.
