Lu Wanwan, delirious, called out for both zombies and Han Jingmo, even attempting to bite the doctor and Han Jingmo, while fearing being eaten herself. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed she had mushroom poisoning, which, though not severe, caused dizziness, nausea, and hallucinations, with severe cases potentially endangering life. Han Jingmo stayed by her side, holding her hand until she fell asleep, and then called Guan Yiwei to arrange for her half-day leave from the crew.
As Lu Wanwan slowly regained consciousness, she still felt dizzy and disoriented, recounting how she protected Han Jingmo from the "zombies" because of his good looks. Back at the hotel, Lu Wanwan feigned sleep in the car, but Han Jingmo, seeing through her act, playfully offered to carry her inside, prompting her to pretend to wake up and step out.
Upon her return, Lu Guanghan scolded her, criticizing her lack of self-awareness as an actress, her love for food, and her careless eating habits that led to the poisoning. He highlighted Yan Shengkai, the new female lead of "Big Dunk", who was strongly recommended by Guan Yiwei, performed excellently in her audition, and impressed the director with her good figure, beauty, and professional attitude. He urged Lu Wanwan to adopt a proactive approach and stop taking chances.
Shortly after, Director Zheng formally introduced Yan Shengkai to the crew, who expressed her commitment to working hard. Zhao Jinghang, having heard of Lu Wanwan's mushroom poisoning, mockingly prepared a meal consisting entirely of mushroom dishes, from stewed chicken with mushrooms to stir-fried eggs with mushrooms. He claimed to be the only one who cared for her and insisted she try his "Lu Wanwan High Couture Lunch."
As they bickered, Guan Yiwei observed them, then after asking Han Jingmo about Zhao Jinghang's background, she directly approached Zhao Jinghang, declared he was now "hers," and proposed they each pursue their own interests, leaving Han Jingmo free to pursue Lu Wanwan. Han Jingmo tacitly agreed. Later, Song Chi questioned Zhao Jinghang about his single status at his age, before asking Lu Wanwan about a box beside her.
Lu Wanwan explained it was a "wrap party gift" from her older brother, Lu Guanghan, for Gu Qiaobei’s wrap party. When it was time to present gifts to Gu Qiaobei, Lu Wanwan, as his fan, gave him her personal present: a global limited edition item. Gu Qiaobei, overwhelmed by its value, hesitated to accept it, questioning if she harbored feelings for him beyond friendship.
Lu Wanwan quickly clarified they were merely friends, but Gu Qiaobei continued to refuse due to the gift’s cost. Zhao Jinghang then subtly led a flustered Lu Wanwan away. Back in her room, Lu Wanwan angrily confronted Lu Guanghan, blaming him for the embarrassing misunderstanding with Gu Qiaobei. Lu Guanghan, however, remained unconcerned, suggesting she let Gu Qiaobei think the gift was from her, as he would surely return it if he knew it came from him.
The next day, at "Big Dunk"'s promotional event, Han Jingmo subtly observed Lu Wanwan interacting with Zhao Jinghang, showing a hint of jealousy. Guan Yiwei later approached Yan Shengkai, inquiring about her adaptation to the crew, and then teased Lu Wanwan about her love for meat, jokingly applying "Einstein's theory of relativity" to her eating habits, claiming if she ate fast enough, her weight would decrease.
That evening, during a crew gathering, Guan Yiwei, feigning drunkenness, clung to Zhao Jinghang and ominously warned him that if he didn't take her home, she would reveal "what happened that night." Under this implicit threat, Zhao Jinghang reluctantly agreed to take her away. Lu Wanwan, witnessing their departure, secretly smiled, then Han Jingmo offered to take Lu Wanwan back to her room.
As they walked away, Guan Yiwei, still with Zhao Jinghang, clarified she was seriously interested in him, questioning why he was a bodyguard and offering him a birthday gift, saying she already bought an expensive watch for someone else as a proxy. Lu Wanwan later pondered, her mind preoccupied with that handsome face. Determined to excel in her upcoming battle against Time Flies Flower Blooms, Lu Wanwan logged into the game world to practice.
There, she re-encountered Ink White, who, noticing her virtual financial struggles, offered her two million in game currency. Lu Wanwan, however, was irritated by his seriousness, reminding him that the game was merely a string of data and not reality. She threatened to issue a public announcement ending their in-game "marriage" if he continued to treat their virtual relationship so earnestly.
Ink White warned her of severe consequences if she dared to do so, insisting his dedication as a "husband" to "his wife" was genuine. Lu Wanwan, realizing he was too immersed, worried about future complications if he took the game too seriously, and internally questioned if her behavior made her seem like a "scumbag." Later, Lu Wanwan decided to buy a birthday gift for Han Jingmo, feeling it was proper to reciprocate his past kindness.
While discussing shoe options with Song Chi, she revealed her intention was to thank him. On the day of Han Jingmo's birthday celebration at the shooting site, Lu Wanwan considered giving him her gift privately to avoid drawing attention. However, during the official celebration, Yan Shengkai arrived with a spectacular multi-tiered cake, which she claimed to have baked herself, instantly captivating everyone's attention and cameras.
As Yan Shengkai presented another gift, Lu Wanwan realized it was identical to the one she had purchased for Han Jingmo. Feeling overshadowed and embarrassed, she quietly tucked her gift away, offering only a verbal "Happy Birthday." Han Jingmo, noticing her empty-handed well-wishes after she had earlier implied a gift, became visibly displeased and sternly told her not to promise things she couldn't deliver.
