Ke Siyi’s nascent feelings for Xu Nuo quickly dissipated when she saw he had arranged for her to sleep on a floor mat. Meanwhile, Zhou Yanxin began his relentless pursuit of Lin Wen. Despite her initial reluctance, he convinced her to share a meal with him. During dinner, Zhou Yanxin openly expressed his admiration for Lin Wen and even tried to bribe Weiwei for her WeChat contact.
While Lin Wen outwardly resisted, she couldn't help but smile secretly as she watched him diligently grill meat for her. Aware of the team's struggles, Ke Siyi drowned her sorrows in alcohol. Lin Wen and Weiwei comforted her, assuring her they would overcome the difficulties together. She explained it was to protect the dreams of the fighters, citing her past as a former Kuang Hu student while concealing her identity as Li Da's daughter. Xu Nuo, feigning a sudden pang of pain, eventually agreed, stating he needed her in his sight at all times for his own safety. They signed the contract and a strict confidentiality agreement. Seeing her father, Li Da, looking dejected, Ke Siyi lied about moving into the company dormitory to accommodate frequent "overtime."
