Rebecca recalled a time when she found a test report in Ruan Dongsheng's office safe, confirming Eva's true identity. Rebecca later confronted Eva at a boxing gym.
After a brief sparring session, Rebecca revealed she knew Eva's secret: a rare condition referred to as "balloon person" disease. Rebecca warned that if Jason Wang or Eva's fans discovered this, it would devastate Eva's career, as World Angel would not support someone with an unstable health condition. Eva demanded to know Rebecca's terms for keeping her secret.
Rebecca presented two options: Eva could either voluntarily withdraw from the World Angel competition and professional modeling entirely, or she could remain in World Angel but actively leave Ruan Dongsheng. Rebecca gave Eva one day to decide, threatening to make the decision for her if she failed to comply. Eva confided in Xiao Nan, who was shocked by the revelation of her secret.
Xiao Nan impulsively wanted to confront Rebecca, but Eva stopped him, urging him to focus on defusing the "time bomb." However, Ruan Dongsheng had repeatedly and "ruthlessly rejected" Rebecca, which explained Rebecca's current hatred. Eva was pleased to hear that Ruan Dongsheng had never liked Rebecca. Xiao Nan then informed Eva of Ruan Dongsheng's "cheesy" apology, further delighting Eva. Ruan Dongsheng apologized to Eva and arranged for a driver to take her home. Shortly after, Rebecca called Eva, asking if she knew who Lin Taotao's father was. She revealed he was currently at Taotao's school and invited Eva to see for herself.
