Shui Wuxia explained that she knew he was intelligent and sensible as a child, and believed his current frivolous behavior stemmed from a past misfortune.
She felt his true self was the one capable of pragmatically analyzing the common people's livelihoods from something as simple as a bird's nest. While acknowledging the pain of losing a loved one, Shui Wuxia emphasized that living a more positive life was the best way to honor them. She added that he was fortunate to have Old Madam Jiang, his father, and Young Master Tianling by his side, something she deeply envied.
