At that time, Qi Chuan was an innocent, talented teenager who was discovered by Xu Guanghan while casually singing with a friend. Xu Guanghan helped him debut in less than a year, and over the next five years, Qi Chuan rose to fame, earning the titles of musical genius and King of Composition.
However, Qi Chuan explained he was oblivious to a massive trap. After terminating his contract six years prior, he discovered that all his music copyrights belonged to Xu Guanghan, meaning he had to pay royalties every time he performed his own songs. This revelation initiated his lawsuit against Xu Guanghan to reclaim his work.
Believing that legal means alone were not enough, Qi Chuan proposed a partnership with Guan Qianya, stating that the enemy of his enemy is his partner, and urged they collaborate to defeat Xu Guanghan. A circuit short then trapped them in the room overnight. Knowing Guan Qianya suffered from chronic insomnia, Xu Nian guided her through a detailed relaxation technique, helping her fall into a deep sleep for the first time in years.
The next morning, Guan Qianya awoke in the real world, confused about how she had entered the game. Lisa appeared, claiming they had mistakenly swapped contact lenses and returned the correct pair, an explanation Guan Qianya accepted. Later, Lei Na rewarded Lisa, who admitted she disliked Guan Qianya for criticizing Y4 and would have helped even without the bribe. Back at Bayhouse, Guan Qianya called Jiang Kele's phone, which she had left behind.
Luo Ke answered, and Jiang Kele snatched it back just as Xu Guanghan made another unexpected visit. Panicked, the boys scrambled to hide Jiang Kele. Unaware of her presence, Xu Guanghan critiqued Luo Ke's sideburns and Su Lie's fashion sense before asking Xu Nian for a report on his mission. Xu Nian stated that Guan Qianya had fallen asleep with her head on his shoulder.
Xu Guanghan initially dismissed this as "nothing" and a sign of inexperience, reminding him that the main goal was to make her fall for him, not fall asleep. However, he then praised Xu Nian for successfully helping with her insomnia, predicting she would soon seek him out again. After the debrief, Xu Guanghan left with Lei Na, allowing Jiang Kele to remain undetected.
