Following the discovery of her forgotten spicy hot pot, Jiang Kele was confronted by the four men. Startled, she turned to find Lu Xiao right in front of her. Su Lie initially mistook her for Granny Fu Shun, but Lu Xiao quickly clarified that Granny Fu Shun would not be wearing a helmet indoors. Realizing it was truly Lu Xiao, Jiang Kele, in disbelief, reached out to touch his face, confirming he was real.
In response, Lu Xiao promptly performed an over-the-shoulder throw, sending her to the ground. After regaining consciousness, Jiang Kele looked at the four men, who uncannily resembled the virtual boyfriends she knew as Y4, and began to question their connection to Xu Guanghan. The men discussed the Bayhouse rule requiring them to report any stranger entering the premises. Fearing the loss of her new job, Jiang Kele desperately pleaded for ten minutes to explain herself.
Introducing herself, Jiang Kele explained that she was filling in for the injured Granny Fu Shun. To win them over, she first spun a tragic tale of being an orphan whose father wandered abroad, forcing her to work multiple jobs. She claimed to have used all her savings to pay Granny Fu Shun's medical bills after the elderly woman's motorbike accident, leaving her deeply in debt.
This story successfully elicited sympathy from Xu Nian, who inquired about Granny Fu Shun's condition. Next, she bribed Luo Ke by promising a steady supply of junk food, including fried chicken, beer, and hot pot, leading him to agree not to report her. Approaching Su Lie, who suffered from social phobia, Jiang Kele coerced him into silence by threatening that if she were expelled, a new, potentially less understanding person would take her place. Lu Xiao, however, remained cold.
Jiang Kele reminded him of their encounter, mentioning "the day before yesterday, at night, the underground station, a sudden kiss." Although Lu Xiao clearly recognized the memory, he feigned ignorance. Persisting, Kele playfully suggested a kiss to confirm his identity. When he continued to rebuff her, she resorted to melodrama, threatening to drown herself in a nearby pool. Annoyed by her theatrics and finding her a nuisance, Lu Xiao finally relented and agreed to keep her presence a secret.
Feeling triumphant, Jiang Kele left Bayhouse and met Granny Fu Shun, who probed if she had encountered anyone she shouldn't have inside. Remembering the granny's warnings, Jiang Kele feigned ignorance. Seeing through her act but not pressing further, Granny Fu Shun sternly advised Kele not to reveal anything she saw or heard within Bayhouse. Jiang Kele promised to comply, keen to keep her high-paying job.
Granny Fu Shun, whose leg had recovered, announced her plan to retire and enjoy life, leaving the cleaning work entirely to Jiang Kele so she could earn money effortlessly. Meanwhile, Guan Qianya faced a crisis when Y4 fans hacked her company's website, replacing its content with a crossed-out photo of her. Infuriated, she ordered her team to fix the website and prepare legal action against the fans, dismissing concerns about potential investor backlash.
Xu Guanghan was updated on the situation but advised his subordinate to focus on the four men in Bayhouse rather than Guan Qianya. Later, Guan Qianya received threatening packages containing cut-up dolls, which she dismissed as trivial actions by "stupid women." Noticing Jiang Kele's high spirits, Guan Qianya inquired about the cause, but Kele, recalling Granny Fu Shun's warning, changed the subject. She teased Guan Qianya about her single status, and Qianya explained her desire for an equally matched partner.
When Kele playfully suggested Xu Guanghan, an annoyed Guan Qianya threatened to pour beer on her hair. The next day, Jiang Kele returned to Bayhouse, bringing hot pot ingredients as promised. While the men were out, she meticulously cleaned their rooms. In Lu Xiao's room, she noticed his teddy bear was dirty and washed it. Upon their return, Xu Nian, Luo Ke, and Su Lie began enjoying the hot pot, but Lu Xiao immediately went to his room.
Discovering his bear had been washed, he became furious and yelled at Jiang Kele, demanding she leave. Feeling unjustly reprimanded and perceiving Lu Xiao as utterly unreasonable, a deeply aggrieved Jiang Kele decided to retaliate.
