Xu Nian offered an unusual solution, suggesting they dance. Though hesitant at first, Guan Qianya, with Xu Nian's guidance, gradually relaxed through the dance.
Later that evening, Jiang Kele returned to their living space and found Guan Qianya seemingly dancing by herself, leading her to correctly guess that Guan Qianya was engrossed in a virtual romance game. Despite Guan Qianya’s initial embarrassment, Jiang Kele pressed for details. Guan Qianya eventually admitted that her involvement began after she mistakenly used the wrong contact lenses, and in a surprising turn of events, Xu Nian had managed to cure her insomnia during that encounter.

Meanwhile, Lu Xiao, burdened by a directive from Xu Guanghan, was observing Jiang Kele. Xu Guanghan had explicitly instructed Lu Xiao to "watch her closely, write it down, and report to me from time to time," a task Lu Xiao had reluctantly accepted. After distributing mini cakes to Luo Ke and Su Lie, Jiang Kele took the large cake to Xu Nian’s room. Luo Ke and Su Lie, observing this, grew curious and eavesdropped on their conversation.
They heard Jiang Kele inquire about Xu Nian’s ideal type of girl, prompting them to wonder if she had moved on from Lu Xiao, whom she had even kissed before. Xu Nian, seemingly oblivious to the eavesdroppers, described his ideal type as gentle, with long hair, a good taste for life, hygienic, and organized.
When Jiang Kele emerged from Xu Nian’s room, she found Lu Xiao lingering nearby and playfully accused him of eavesdropping and being jealous that she had given Xu Nian the large cake. Despite his own fear of water, Lu Xiao overcame his hesitation, quickly jumped in, and pulled her out, subsequently performing CPR to revive her. Upon regaining consciousness, Jiang Kele asked if he had saved her. She then directly confronted him, asserting that he was the one who had kissed her previously and demanding he admit it, as she had immediately recognized the sensation.
Jiang Kele then kissed him, confirming her suspicion that it was indeed Lu Xiao who had kissed her at the subway station before. Her mind then shifted to how Lu Xiao could have possibly left the tightly monitored Bayhouse, considering the extensive surveillance and security. Remembering Granny Fu Shun’s mention of a secret room, Jiang Kele ventured into it. There, she discovered a hidden passageway.
Following the passage, she eventually emerged from an unexpected subway entrance labeled "Xiang Hua Qiao Road Station, Entrance 6." This discovery led her to surmise that Lu Xiao must have used this secret route to sneak out. Meanwhile, at the "Great Debate," Xu Guanghan and Guan Qianya prepared to face each other.
The host introduced Xu Guanghan as the self-proclaimed "most handsome man in the universe" and "Founding Father of 'Love Boys'," as well as the president of Yao Inc. Guan Qianya was introduced as "the last hope for women" and "the toughest woman in the universe," and president of "Crush On Love." Xu Guanghan delivered a passionate opening statement, arguing that "Y4" (Love Boys) fulfilled humanity's desire for love, addressing a longing that has existed since ancient times.
He proclaimed that the era of "Love Boys" had already arrived and warned those who remained asleep would be crushed by the wheel of time. Following his speech, the support ratings from the 500 audience members were displayed, with a staggering 499 votes going to Xu Guanghan. Then, Guan Qianya took the stage. She began by quoting a female writer, stating, "I thought love could fill the regrets of life, but it was love that created more regrets."
Guan Qianya acknowledged that love is indeed full of regrets but posited that regret is a vital part of love, prompting people to reminisce, seek change, and become better versions of themselves for future relationships. She challenged Xu Guanghan, asking if people were not also longing for love in real life, accusing him of subtly changing the concept.
She then launched a scathing critique of "Love Boys," highlighting how heavily addicted players neglected their studies, careers, and families, lost touch with reality, and some even suffered severe cognitive impairment, becoming mental patients. She asserted that the "Founding Father of Love Boys'" conscience had long been tainted by profits, and that he was inadvertently leading humanity astray.
