Qingyao arrived at the Purple Cloud Platform, where Heavenly Soldiers immediately surrounded her, warning that unauthorized entry would be met with death. Lingxi, sensing danger, tried to stop her, but Qingyao swiftly lifted a medicine bottle, stunning the unprepared Heavenly Soldiers. Qingyao then insisted that Lingxi must leave, cautioning that no one would dare defy heavenly orders to save her due to the involvement of the Demon Tribe.
Lingxi, worried about implicating the Peach Forest, initially refused to go, so Qingyao incapacitated her as well and placed her into a storage bag to carry her away. Yuan Tong secretly observed this entire scene. After Qingyao and Lingxi departed, Yuan Tong emerged from the shadows and brutally murdered all the unconscious Heavenly Soldiers guarding the platform, intending to frame Qingyao for their deaths. In the Heavenly Palace, the Heavenly Emperor inquired about the progress of refining demonic aura.
God of Heavenly Thunder reported that everything was prepared, but they lacked the assistance of a High God. Both looked towards Yunfeng, who quickly feigned a severe injury, claiming Doctor Qingyao had advised him against using his magic for centuries. Just as Yunfeng was finishing his excuses, Yuan Tong arrived, falsely accusing Qingyao of forcefully taking Lingxi from Purple Cloud Platform and poisoning the guards to death.
She confessed to being helpless due to her diminished cultivation, painting herself as a victim. Yunfeng vehemently denied the accusations against Qingyao. The Heavenly Emperor, shocked by the news, immediately ordered Ziguang and Fangsheng to lead Heavenly Soldiers to apprehend Qingyao and Lingxi. Yuan Tong seized the opportunity to volunteer, vowing to present her head if she failed, an oath the Heavenly Emperor accepted.
Despite Yunfeng's renewed attempt to join the pursuit, the Heavenly Emperor strictly forbade him from leaving the Heavenly Palace, citing his supposed injury. Back in the Peach Forest, Le Bo and Chengyan anxiously awaited Qingyao and Lingxi's return. Qingyao soon arrived, carrying the unconscious Lingxi, and explained that she had to knock out some Heavenly Soldiers to evade them. However, almost immediately, Heavenly Soldiers descended upon them.
Le Bo quickly ordered them to split up: Qingyao and Chengyan would create a diversion, while he took Lingxi and fled. Unaware of the escalating crisis, Jiuchen was confined by the Heavenly Supreme Lord in a spiritual mountain, engaged in a deep discussion about the nature of existence. The Heavenly Supreme Lord attempted to guide Jiuchen, emphasizing the limitations of perception and the importance of choice within the cosmic order.
Jiuchen, however, asserted his belief in observing the vastness of heaven with his heart, stating that all things, though seemingly contradictory like yin and yang, eventually find harmony. He expressed his determination to find a path to resolution, even in a seemingly hopeless situation, seeking the "harmony" where opposing forces converge. The Heavenly Supreme Lord, despite his wisdom, could only sigh at Jiuchen's unwavering resolve.
Meanwhile, Heichi informed Zhonghao that Lingxi had escaped the Heavenly Palace and was being pursued by Heavenly Soldiers. Zhonghao was alarmed, understanding that Lingxi's death would mean the Demon Lord could never be resurrected. He immediately commanded Heichi to bring Lingxi back alive at any cost. Despite being confined to the Heavenly Palace, Yunfeng grew increasingly anxious about Qingyao and Lingxi's safety. He eventually found a way to project his spirit body, enabling him to leave the Heavenly Palace undetected.
Meanwhile, Yuan Tong and Fangsheng intercepted Qingyao and Chengyan, who had disguised himself as Lingxi. Qingyao confronted Yuan Tong, mockingly asking how it felt to have her cultivation stripped. Infuriated, Yuan Tong attacked Qingyao viciously. As a Medical Immortal, Qingyao was at a disadvantage in combat, and Chengyan, trying to protect her, was severely injured. Just as Yuan Tong prepared to deliver a fatal blow to Qingyao, Yunfeng's spirit body appeared, thwarting her attempt.
Recognizing that killing Qingyao was now impossible with Yunfeng present, Yuan Tong decisively abandoned her pursuit of Qingyao and turned her attention to chasing the real Lingxi. Lingxi, still disoriented within the storage bag, forced her way out using her magic, only to find herself with Le Bo. Upon learning that Qingyao and Chengyan were diverting the Heavenly Soldiers, Lingxi desperately wanted to return and help.
Le Bo, however, stopped her, explaining that while Qingyao might endure centuries of imprisonment, Lingxi would face certain death if caught. He then tried to comfort her by proposing they hide on a beautiful, secluded island for a hundred thousand years, where he could teach her all his medical skills and they could plant a grander Peach Forest. Lingxi, touched by her father's selflessness and optimism, knelt and apologized for inadvertently bringing trouble to the Peach Forest.
Le Bo lovingly chided her, affirming that he would always be there for her. Lingxi, moved, embraced him, promising to obey him, plant a vast Peach Forest, and diligently study medicine. She declared her willingness to stay hidden with him for even a million years, finding solace in his companionship. Le Bo was deeply comforted by her newfound understanding.
Chibi informed Jing Xiu that the girl the Demon Lord sought, named Lingxi, had been located and was currently being pursued by both the Heavenly Race and the Demon Tribe. The name Lingxi sounded familiar to Jing Xiu. Chibi stressed the urgency of securing Lingxi, explaining that she was crucial for their plans to control Zhonghao and repair their relationship with the State Master. Recognizing the critical importance of the situation, Jing Xiu decided to personally undertake Lingxi's capture.
Jiuchen remained steadfast in his conviction. The Heavenly Supreme Lord reminded him of the Dark Capital Mountain battle, where Jiuchen, despite shedding tears, had sacrificed his own kin to eliminate the demon threat for the Six Realms. He questioned why Jiuchen now hesitated to abandon Lingxi, whose fate was supposedly Heaven's will. Jiuchen, recalling the horrific battle, also remembered first encountering Lingxi as an infant.
He affirmed that as a deity who accepted mortals' reverence, he could not abandon Lingxi, especially since she had awakened him from the Immortal Sea. He argued that Lingxi's current plight was a consequence of his past actions, not merely Heaven's will. Jiuchen then solemnly declared that if Heaven's will meant abandoning Lingxi, he would defy it.
He would instead follow his own path, one rooted in cause and effect, guided by his heart, even if it meant diverging from his respected master's teachings. Having made his resolve clear, Jiuchen respectfully bowed to his master and hastily departed. Lingxi questioned Le Bo about not telling Qingyao their escape route, to which he explained it was to prevent the Heavenly Palace from tracking them down. Their debate was cut short when Ziguang and his Heavenly Soldiers caught up.
Outmatched, Le Bo and Lingxi quickly found themselves cornered. Just then, Qinyuan arrived with demon-path followers, engaging the Heavenly Soldiers. Amidst the chaos, Le Bo tried to escape with Lingxi. However, Zhonghao appeared, wielding a Demon Blade. Le Bo was critically wounded protecting Lingxi from Zhonghao's attack. Fortunately, Jiuchen arrived, instructing Lingxi to take the injured Le Bo and leave.
Unable to move, Le Bo, with his last breaths, gave Lingxi detailed directions to a secluded island filled with peach trees, where his old friend, the cowardly Fushou Zhenjun, resided. He instructed Lingxi to threaten Fushou Zhenjun with revealing his hiding spot to Queen Mother of the West to secure his help. Le Bo urged Lingxi never to seek revenge and never to trust anyone.
In his final moments, he revealed that he was not her biological father, having found her as an infant near Dark Capital Mountain 50,000 years ago, shortly after Jiuchen was nearly dead during the God-Demon war. He tasked her with finding her true parents. Lingxi was distraught and overwhelmed by this revelation. Just then, Yuan Tong arrived, consumed by hatred, blaming Lingxi for the downfall of the Yuan Clan and her mother's death.
As they fought, Lingxi, though proclaiming her innocence, was outmatched. Seeing his daughter struggling, Le Bo, with his last ounce of strength, lunged to protect her, only for Yuan Tong to fatally stab him. Witnessing her father's brutal death, Lingxi's grief and suppressed demonic aura erupted. Her phoenix true form manifested, sending Yuan Tong flying before Lingxi herself collapsed. Jing Xiu observed this shocking transformation from a distance but chose to leave without taking Lingxi.
Sometime later, Lingxi regained consciousness, only to discover Le Bo's lifeless body, causing her immense grief. She then heard a voice calling to her, and a mark on her forehead began to throb with pain. The Demon Lord, capitalizing on the chaos and Lingxi's vulnerable state, used his power to breach her spiritual altar, incessantly summoning her to his sealed prison at Dark Capital Mountain.
Spiritless and moving like a puppet, Lingxi walked step by step towards the black lotus, on the verge of breaking the Demon Lord's seal. Just in time, Jiuchen arrived and intercepted her, preventing her from completing the ominous act. Lingxi, disoriented and heartbroken, questioned why everyone wanted to kill her, expressing her confusion about the fairness of Heavenly Palace and the actions of the immortals.
Jiuchen, despite his own injuries, reassured her that she had done nothing wrong and that the fault lay with him. He asked if she still believed him. The Demon Lord's voice, still echoing in her mind, urged her not to trust Jiuchen, but Jiuchen pulled her close, promising to protect her and ensure no one would harm her. He then led her away from the perilous site.
