Shu Jingrong began to slide across the deep abyss, unaware that Ming He had discovered her plan. Ming He, determined to eliminate Shu Jingrong to secure Jia Ruo's affection, remarked that anyone falling from such a height with a broken rope would face a tragic end. As Shu Jingrong was halfway across, Ming He quickly drew her sword and severed the rope, causing Shu Jingrong to plunge downward.

Ming He gloated that Shu Jingrong wouldn't be able to save anyone, not even herself. Fortunately, Huang Quan arrived just in time with Ice Silkworm Silk, and Xue Gu secured it to the opposite bank, allowing Shu Jingrong to grab onto it and swiftly cross to safety. Ming He was shocked and tried desperately to cut the silk, but its extreme toughness made it impervious to ordinary blades.

Shu Jingrong successfully reached the opposite bank and immediately engaged Ming He in a sword fight. Meanwhile, in the ice prison, Xiao Yin released Xiao Yiqing from his shackles, handing him the Shadow Sun Dagger and Frozen Flower Elixir as a gesture of gratitude for saving her earlier. She explained this was all she could do, acknowledging that she brought him to Flower Palace, but his survival now depended on his own destiny.

Xiao Yiqing, in turn, advised Xiao Yin that she didn't belong in Flower Palace and should seek out Bi Luo. After taking the elixir, Xiao Yiqing struggled to his feet, but Ming Che suddenly arrived and further wounded him with a hidden weapon. Ming Che demanded to know why Xiao Yiqing possessed the Shadow Sun Dagger, mocking his chances of leaving Flower Palace alive.

Xiao Yiqing, in turn, coldly mocked Ming Che, accusing him of being blinded by jealousy because he could not have the woman he loved. Enraged, Ming Che declared that Xiao Shi Shui had caused him to fall out with his wife Hua Lian, and that Hua Lian’s death at Xue Wen’s hands was also because of him, giving him ample reason to wipe out the Xiao family.

Xiao Yiqing reiterated that Ming Che's true motivation was unrequited love, and Ming Che, furious, vowed to send Xiao Yiqing to meet Xiao Shi Shui, intending to kill him and present his corpse to Snow Tower. At this critical moment, Shu Jingrong arrived, interrupting Ming Che’s attack, and engaged him in a fierce battle. During the fight, Ming Che injected Shu Jingrong with the Supreme Flower Poison, warning her that her organs would burn in 49 days, an incurable fate.

However, Shu Jingrong also managed to severely injure Ming Che. Xue Gu and Huang Quan arrived with their people, allowing Shu Jingrong to take Xiao Yiqing and leave first, with Xue Gu and Huang Quan following closely behind. Meanwhile, Ming He encountered Bi Luo. Ming He initially mocked Bi Luo's assistance to Snow Tower but then quickly shifted tactics to get rid of him.

She asked if the rumors about Bi Luo helping Snow Tower for a woman named Xiao Yin were true. When Bi Luo confirmed it, Ming He revealed that Xiao Yin was currently in the Exotic Flower Formation at the Flower Palace entrance.

She explained that Xiao Yin was the Young Mistress of Flower Palace and had been placed in the formation by the Palace Master to resist Snow Tower, implying that Snow Tower would have to kill her to break through. Though Bi Luo was skeptical, Ming He insisted that if Snow Tower intended to breach the formation, they would inevitably have to kill Xiao Yin.

Outside the Exotic Flower Formation, Nan Chu, Chi Xiaotai, and their companions were preparing to storm in, wary of the poisonous flower scents permeating the area. Nan Chu noted the Flower Palace's skill in growing such plants to extract poison. Inside, Xiao Yin led her forces, fiercely guarding the entrance, ordering them to stop any invaders. Remembering her previous arrangement with Ming He to kill Xiao Yin, Chi Xiaotai impulsively charged forward.

During a fierce struggle, Chi Xiaotai fatally stabbed Xiao Yin in the chest amidst the chaos. Bi Luo rushed to the scene, kicking Chi Xiaotai away and cradling the gravely wounded Xiao Yin. Chi Xiaotai, having been poisoned by the Exotic Flower Poison during the fight, was disoriented and wildly attacked those around her until Nan Chu and Xue Qingming quickly administered an antidote.

Upon regaining her senses, Chi Xiaotai stared at the bloody blade in her hand as if waking from a dream. Bi Luo, heartbroken, questioned Snow Tower's promise to him. Chi Xiaotai frantically defended herself to Nan Chu, insisting her actions were unintentional and due to her haste. Nan Chu and the others, believing her to be truly incapacitated by the poison, did not doubt her sincerity. Bi Luo carried the mortally wounded Xiao Yin away.

Xiao Yin, in her last moments, told Bi Luo she would wait for him in heaven and made him promise not to make her search for him again. Her death left Bi Luo consumed by grief, lamenting their tragic reunion and separation. Meanwhile, Shu Jingrong escaped with Xiao Yiqing, followed closely by Xue Gu and Huang Quan. They rendezvoused with Nan Chu and the others, collectively breathing a sigh of relief.

However, an assassin hidden in the shadows fired a dart at Xiao Yiqing. Without hesitation, Xue Gu lunged forward, using his own body to shield Xiao Yiqing, taking the full force of the dart and sustaining severe injuries. Everyone quickly rushed Xue Gu and Xiao Yiqing back to Snow Tower for treatment.

Elsewhere, after Xiao Yin's death, Ming Che announced to his followers that the Young Mistress of Flower Palace had been brutally murdered by Snow Tower, using her death to incite a unified revenge with Moon Sect. He then declared that Ming He, his birth daughter and the Mistress of Moon Sect, would now take charge of Flower Palace, demanding everyone's obedience under penalty of severe palace rules. Ming He accepted, vowing to avenge all the bloodshed caused by Snow Tower.

Back at Snow Tower, Xue Gu's injuries were too severe for Doctor Mo to treat effectively, and he was gravely ill. Chi Xiaotai desperately pleaded with her father not to leave her, reminding him of his promise to stay by her side. Xue Gu, in his final moments, assured Chi Xiaotai he would always be there for her, though he could no longer remain in this world. He then entrusted Chi Xiaotai to Xiao Yiqing's care.

Xiao Yiqing solemnly vowed to protect Chi Xiaotai for the rest of his life. With his promise secured, Xue Gu passed away, leaving everyone, especially Chi Xiaotai, in profound sorrow. Xiao Yiqing reflected on how his Master had once saved his life by sacrificing half of his own power and sustaining him for three more years using the Phoenix Tail Flower.

Now, despite receiving all of his Master’s inner energy, Xiao Yiqing knew his Jue Yin Disease remained incurable and that his days were numbered. He expressed his determination to hold on until Moon Sect was vanquished and to rescue his mother, Xue Wen, who awaited him at the bottom of Holy Lake, prioritizing his mission over his deteriorating health. Doctor Mo promised to do his best for Xiao Yiqing.

Shu Jingrong visited Xiao Yiqing, informing him that the Long Family was now aware of Xiao Yin's manipulative actions and would no longer pursue Snow Tower. She added that Qing Ya had abolished the Long Family's vices, but Qian Mei, disheartened by love, refused to return with him to the Long Family. Shu Jingrong remarked that love was indeed the hardest thing in the world.

Xiao Yiqing gazed at Shu Jingrong and pulled her into a tight embrace, suggesting they forget all martial world enmities and disputes for the night. Shu Jingrong tried to reassure him about the Supreme Flower Poison in her body, saying it didn't matter, and that Ming Che's words were just to frighten them, citing Doctor Mo's reassurance that she was fine. Xiao Yiqing, however, made a solemn promise, stating he would not allow her to neglect her life for him. He declared that saving her was worth any cost and vowed to search the entire world for a cure to keep her safe and sound, never giving up.
