Zhao Jin was overjoyed when Xu Nuo agreed to meet him to see the snow, quickly dressing and heading out. Xu Nuo, however, had already sensed Zhao Jin's particular interest in her and called him out to clarify their relationship. When they met, she told him directly that she had a boyfriend and apologized if her words or actions had caused any misunderstanding.
Zhao Jin, though deeply disappointed, expressed that despite the short time, he was glad for the connection they had. He then revealed to Xu Nuo that he was divorced, which surprised her, but she did not press for more details, only asking about the girl he lived with. Zhao Jin admitted he was curious about Xu Nuo and that she had been on his mind since they first met.
He also acknowledged that he had considered she might have a boyfriend but couldn't help thinking of her. Peng Yuan apologized, admitting his desire to win got the better of him, but Zhao Jin downplayed the injury. After the match, Peng Yuan introduced Xu Nuo as his girlfriend to Zhao Jin. After dinner, the group headed to a karaoke bar. Shi Ran continued to push Peng Yuan to commit to the "Ten Year Promise" event, and he readily agreed, promising to attend if his work schedule allowed. Shi Ran, however, grew increasingly concerned by the noticeable lack of communication and interaction between Xu Nuo and Peng Yuan throughout the evening. Later, as Peng Yuan drove Cong Shan to a bridal shop for a bridesmaid dress fitting, they unexpectedly encountered Xu Nuo and Shi Ran, who were working on the event. Xu Nuo got into Peng Yuan's car, where he attempted to explain his professional ties to Cong Shan, emphasizing her father's role as his company's largest investor. Inside, Auntie Lu advised Xu Nuo not to prolong her decision about marriage, suggesting that sometimes a push can clarify things. Just then, Xu Nuo received a frantic call from her mother, informing her that her grandmother had fallen. Xu Nuo immediately needed to leave. Auntie Lu suggested Peng Yuan take her to the hospital, but his father intervened, directing Peng Yuan to drive Cong Shan home. Auntie Lu then offered to drive Xu Nuo herself.
At the hospital, as Xu Nuo frantically searched for a stretcher for her grandmother, she came across Zhao Jin, who was there with his sister.
