The three of them, Cao Yanbing, were worried about how to talk to Yan Fengzha and get him to lead the way, because the time for the Ancient Reed Building to appear was getting closer. Xia Ling felt it was difficult to talk to Yan Fengzha given his current state.

Just then, Yan Ruofu came over to bring them something to eat and told them that Yan Fengzha had been in low spirits for the past two days, shutting himself in his room and not coming out. She was planning to make some pastries he liked and bring them over because today was his birthday.

When the three of them, Cao Yanbing, heard this, they decided to give Yan Fengzha a proper birthday celebration and then move him to help lead the way. Xia Ling and Cao Yanbing went to Yan Fengzha's room, sang him a birthday song, and danced, but were eventually chased out by Yan Fengzha. Cao Yanbing recalled that Yan Fengzha had been imprisoned for so long, and wondered what he would want the most.

The three of them came up with a plan and pretended at the door, saying that they had originally planned to take Yan Fengzha to the Human Realm for a day of fun, but it seemed he wasn't in the mood. Cao Yanbing exaggerated, saying how uncomfortable it was to stay in Lingfeng Street, and how excited he was thinking about the Human Realm's film industry, food streets, and amusement parks.

The three of them then pretended to leave for the Human Realm. As expected, Yan Fengzha in the room heard this and rushed out, asking them what the Human Realm was like. Cao Yanbing took Yan Fengzha and sat in the car, explaining to him what a car was and what a seatbelt was, while being urged by Xia Ling to hurry up and drive. The four of them arrived at an amusement park in the Human Realm.

Xia Ling told Yan Fengzha to tell her whatever he wanted to play or eat, and she would arrange it all for him so he could have fun to his heart's content. Yan Fengzha's appearance even attracted many people, and some even took pictures of him, which scared him so much he was about to call Feilian out, but Cao Yanbing warned him that he couldn't release Feilian in the Human Realm.

The few of them played many rides and had a lot of fun. The three of them, Cao Yanbing, brought out a cake and wished Yan Fengzha a happy birthday, telling him he could make a wish. Yan Fengzha was very happy and asked if his wish could be fulfilled. Cao Yanbing said that if he made a wish, they could help fulfill it. Yan Fengzha was very grateful.

Cao Yanbing said they were friends who had gone through things together, and might even be companions on the road in the future. After hearing this, Yan Fengzha knew they were doing all this to please him and then get him to lead the way. Yan Fengzha angrily said that he would rather be alone than have their fake concern and excitement.

After returning to Lingfeng Street, Yan Ruofu came over to thank the three of them, Cao Yanbing, for taking Yan Fengzha to the Human Realm for his birthday. She also knew they must have persuaded Yan Fengzha to lead the way for them, but she didn't really want Yan Fengzha to go.

This was because usually a guide only needed to take people to the Forest of the Sky God and could return without danger. However, ten years ago, Yan Qiaoqiao disappeared after going as a guide and never came back. Therefore, the Treading Wind clansmen believed something unexpected must have happened and the guide might not return, facing life-threatening danger. This was also one of the reasons why Yan Lingyu had previously prevented Cao Yanbing from finding Yan Fengzha.

Yan Ruofu told the three of them, Cao Yanbing, that she hoped they could understand that they thought it was just leading the way, but in reality, the guide was risking their life. After hearing this, the three of them fell silent. Xia Ling asked Cao Yanbing what he would choose. Xia Ling said she also wanted to know the reason for her father's departure and death, not to mention Cao Yanbing and Beiluo.

But she also understood Yan Ruofu's unwillingness to let Yan Fengzha take risks. Cao Yanbing said they had all overlooked Yan Fengzha's wishes. Yan Fengzha denied it, saying he wanted to conserve his energy to enter with a better mental state, and was not waiting for them.
