Cao Yanbing's mother had an accident because she discovered that an infected person had appeared on Rakshasa Street, and to protect everyone, she went to eliminate the evil infected. Cao Yanbing had previously discovered that person might be infected, but because that person kept pleading with him for a chance and promised not to worsen or harm others, Cao Yanbing didn't tell his mother about the infection.

Now, discovering that the person doing evil was him, Cao Yanbing felt betrayed and hurt, because his kindness had harmed others on Rakshasa Street. His mother told him never to abandon his kindness, and the reason he needed to become strong was to have the capacity to withstand betrayal, hoping he would never regret his kindness, but his mother ultimately met with an accident and was killed by the evil infected.

Wang Meng, while Cao Yanbing was trapped in a nightmare, unable to break free, prepared to strike and kill him. But Cao Yanbing subdued him. Cao Yanbing went home and spent his brother's birthday with him, telling him to ask Xia Ling for help if anything happened.

When he went out, he saw Li Gucheng was indeed looking for him, so he walked into the trap and was captured by the Hall of Heroes and taken into Qianji Heiyu. In Zhuànlún City, the leader of Tiāngāng Lóngqí, Huangfu Longdou, had already learned everything that happened. They had planned for Cao Yanbing to enter Qianji Heisha. The leader wanted to use Cao Yanbing's Wushen Body to achieve his goals.

Zhenyu Tongzi discovered someone had escaped and chased after him. Cao Yanbing fought Zhenyu Tongzi and released his two Guardian Spirits, Xu Chu and Dian Wei, but both were easily crushed by Zhenyu Tongzi. The Guardian Spirits turned into two black beads and were collected by Zhenyu Tongzi. After three days, the black beads would turn into white beads and become Zhenyu Tongzi's power.

Cao Yanbing was beaten with no ability to resist, because Zhenyu Tongzi knew Cao Yanbing had the Wushen Body and definitely had other Guardian Spirits within him, so he decided not to kill him, letting him escape whenever he wanted. Then his Guardian Spirits would be released and eventually defeated by himself, and all of them would belong to him.
