Zhou Zhiruo pricked Ding Minjun's acupoints from behind, covering Zhang Wuji and Yin Li as they reached a safe area. Zhang Wuji wanted to take Zhou Zhiruo with them, worried that Abbess Miejue would not let her off. Just then, Abbess Miejue arrived with her disciples and severely reprimanded Zhou Zhiruo. Zhang Wuji hurriedly stepped forward to intervene for Zhou Zhiruo, but Abbess Miejue was relentless.

Ding Minjun fanned the flames from the side, insisting that Zhou Zhiruo and Zhang Wuji had colluded. Zhou Zhiruo quickly knelt down to plead for Zhang Wuji, willing to accept any punishment. Just then, a whistling sound swept across the sky. Abbess Miejue recognized it as a distress signal from the Kongtong Sect. For a moment, she couldn't bother to punish Zhou Zhiruo, so she took her disciples and Yin Liting and his nephew to help.

They joined forces with the Kongtong Sect members and fought fiercely with the disciples of the Ming Cult's Three Banners. Zhang Wuji and Yin Li watched the battle from the side. Yin Tianzheng and his son Yin Yewang stood halfway up the mountain with the Heavenly Eagle Sect disciples. Seeing the heavy casualties of the Ming Cult disciples, they decided to observe the situation first. The Ming Cult disciples resisted desperately but were ultimately outnumbered and defeated.

Abbess Miejue forced them to surrender their weapons, but they faced death calmly. In a fit of rage, Abbess Miejue used the Heaven-Reliant Sword to sever all their arms. Yet, they remained neither humble nor arrogant, and together they shouted slogans of "Slay the rich to help the poor, do good and eliminate evil." Abbess Miejue ordered to cut off their other arm. Zhang Wuji hurriedly stepped out to stop her and spoke out against injustice for the Ming Cult.

However, Abbess Miejue was convinced that the Ming Cult was an evil cult. Zhang Wuji condemned her for wantonly killing innocents under the banner of justice. Abbess Miejue was reproached into silence. Ding Minjun, unconvinced, drew her sword and stabbed Zhang Wuji. Zhang Wuji used his internal energy to knock her to the ground, then went to help stop the bleeding of the injured Ming Cult members.

Abbess Miejue discovered Zhang Wuji's profound internal energy and proposed that if Zhang Wuji could take three of her moves, she would agree to release the Ming Cult members. Zhang Wuji claimed he was no match for her and pleaded with her to release them, but Abbess Miejue was relentless. She immediately punched and attacked Zhang Wuji. Zhang Wuji did not dodge and was struck a long distance away by her.

Just as Abbess Miejue was about to order the cutting off of the other arm of the Ming Cult members, Zhang Wuji actively came forward to receive Abbess Miejue's remaining two palms. Yin Li told Zhou Zhiruo to persuade Zhang Wuji not to risk his life, but Zhang Wuji's mind was made up. Abbess Miejue decisively struck with a punch, and Zhang Wuji was struck unconscious. Yet, he struggled to get back up. Yin Li cried uncontrollably with heartache.

Zhang Wuji sat cross-legged to heal his injuries with internal energy. Ding Minjun was very impatient, urging Zhang Wuji to quickly come and face death. Zhou Zhiruo desperately pleaded for Zhang Wuji, also praising Abbess Miejue as a benevolent and righteous elder who would not put Zhang Wuji to death. Zhang Wuji quickly recovered as before. He prepared to receive Abbess Miejue's third move. Abbess Miejue decided to spare his life but insisted on killing all the Ming Cult members.

Zhang Wuji hurriedly stopped her, willingly accepting her third palm. Yin Yewang suddenly stepped forward to challenge Abbess Miejue and released flying eagles to summon Heavenly Eagle Sect disciples. The Heavenly Eagle Sect disciples immediately assumed their fighting stances, surrounding everyone present. Yin Yewang forced Abbess Miejue to let Zhang Wuji go, otherwise, he would annihilate them all in one fell swoop.

Abbess Miejue was unwilling to let go of the demon cult disciples and struck with a palm attack against Yin Yewang. Zhang Wuji used his body to take Abbess Miejue's third palm. Abbess Miejue was repelled by the palm force, staggering and almost falling. Zhang Wuji publicly thanked Abbess Miejue, thanking her for being merciful. Abbess Miejue had no choice but to order the release of the Ming Cult members.

Yin Li worried that her identity would be exposed and quietly reminded Zhang Wuji to escape quickly. Yin Yewang had long recognized Zhu'er as his daughter Yin Li, so he forcibly dragged Zhang Wuji and Yin Li to the Heavenly Eagle Sect's main tent and exposed Yin Li's identity in front of her. Yin Li argued with him. Yin Yewang, in a fit of pique, wanted to kill Yin Li to vent his personal anger.

Wei Yixiao suddenly abducted Yin Li. Yin Yewang and Zhang Wuji hurriedly went in pursuit. Halfway, Yin Yewang heard a distress signal from the Heavenly Eagle Sect and immediately turned back to rescue. Zhang Wuji had no choice but to go alone to rescue her. Wei Yixiao was just about to bite Yin Li's neck but stopped at the last moment.

He, however, suffered a seizure from the cold poison, convulsed all over, and fell to the ground unable to get up. Yin Li seized the opportunity to escape. Zhang Wuji chased halfway and suddenly heard someone laugh loudly. He claimed to be Shuo Bude, one of the Ming Cult's Five Wanderers, and painstakingly urged Zhang Wuji not to waste his efforts trying to rescue her, because Wei Yixiao never leaves anyone alive.

He went astray while cultivating his martial arts, and only by sucking human blood could he alleviate his pain; otherwise, cold energy would invade his body, and he would freeze to death. Zhang Wuji insisted on rescuing Yin Li, but he was put into the Qiankun Bag of Primordial Qi by Shuo Bude. He desperately tried to break free, but it was all in vain. Zhou Zhiruo worried about Zhang Wuji's safety. She hid aside, feeling depressed.

Abbess Miejue determined that Zhang Wuji was no ordinary person, but unfortunately did not know his true identity. She also reminded Zhou Zhiruo not to harbor any illusions about Zhang Wuji and told her to atone for her sins after arriving at Bright Peak. Zhou Zhiruo quickly knelt down to admit her mistake to Abbess Miejue. Abbess Miejue, worried that something unexpected might happen to her, decided to entrust the Emei Sect to Zhou Zhiruo.

Yang Xiao received a battle report from his subordinate, Seker, learning that the Ming Cult's Three Banners had been defeated and the Six Major Sects had already gathered at Bright Peak. He immediately dispatched his subordinates from the Four Gates of Heaven, Earth, Wind, and Thunder to guard around the main altar. If there was any disturbance, they were to report to him immediately.

Zhou Dian, one of the Ming Cult's Five Wanderers, discovered Wei Yixiao leaning against a rock, shivering. He hurriedly used his internal energy to boost Wei Yixiao's strength, also suffering some cold poison as a result. Zhou Dian had to help Wei Yixiao into a cave. Shuo Bude and Tieguan Daoren were already waiting there.

Zhang Wuji, trapped in the Qiankun Bag of Primordial Qi, unable to move, only felt a little relieved upon learning that Wei Yixiao had not sucked Yin Li's blood. Tieguan Daoren didn't want to see Wei Yixiao in such pain, so he wanted to use Zhang Wuji's blood to restore his strength. Shuo Bude firmly disagreed, so he and Tieguan Daoren used internal energy to help Wei Yixiao replenish his strength. Wei Yixiao gradually recovered.

Just then, Leng Qian and Peng Yingyu, the other two of the Ming Cult's Five Wanderers, returned to report to them that the Shaolin Temple had also sent people to Bright Peak to participate in the battle. Both Shuo Bude and Tieguan Daoren felt that the Five Wanderers should work together to lead the Ming Cult to first repel the invading enemies, and then settle scores with Yang Xiao.

But Zhou Dian was unwilling and firmly refused to get involved in Ming Cult matters. Shuo Bude severely reprimanded Zhou Dian, who vigorously struck him, knocking out one of Shuo Bude's teeth on the spot. Shuo Bude did not retaliate, wanting to save his strength to fight the enemy. Zhou Dian immediately decided to fight the Six Major Sects to the death.

Yang Xiao knew he couldn't escape this calamity and painstakingly urged Yang Buhui to escape first, promising that he would come find her soon. Yang Buhui insisted on advancing and retreating with him, so Yang Xiao had no choice but to agree for now. Just then, the Five Wanderers and Wei Yixiao came to the main altar to see Yang Xiao. Yang Xiao told Seker to guard Yang Buhui closely, allowing no one to approach her. Yang Xiao hurriedly came out to greet the Five Wanderers and Wei Yixiao.
