Ning Xiang is trying to find Du Xiaoyu but can't, so she tells Ning Zhiqian about it. But to her surprise, Ning Zhiqian brings up Xue Weilin and warns her that he's not a good person. This angers Liuzheng, who tells Ning Zhiqian not to interfere in her personal relationships and that maybe Xue Weilin is sincere towards her now, despite his past as a playboy.

Ding Yiyuan finds Du Xiaoyu on the rooftop and calls everyone to come see him. They arrive to find him dancing on the high platform. Later that night, they gather on the rooftop, which has been decorated like a stage, and Du Xiaoyu dances under the lights like a butterfly. When the dance ends, fireworks light up the sky, dazzling everyone.

Cheng Zhouyu accidentally sees Ding Yiyuan dancing in front of the fireworks and looking like a happy child. He smiles and records the moment on his phone. Meanwhile, everyone applauds Du Xiaoyu and takes photos with him. Ning Zhiqian is still busy at work, hoping the surgery will go perfectly the next day. Thanks to everyone's efforts, the surgery is successful and they all breathe a sigh of relief.

Late at night, a nurse rushes in asking if Liuzheng has seen Ning Zhiqian. She finds him passed out in the changing room and checks on him, relieved to find that he's just sleeping. Liuzheng thanks Ning Zhiqian for being a good doctor and decides she wants to become a robot like him because machines don't make mistakes like humans do. Ning Zhiqian is pleased and wishes her the best in achieving her dream. From that point on, their relationship becomes more comfortable, and Liuzheng learns a lot from Ning Zhiqian.

The day Du Xiaoyu was discharged from the hospital came in a flash. Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian went together to bid him farewell, but when Du Xiaoyu pretended to hug Ning Zhiqian, he ran away like a scared rabbit. Liuzheng found it funny and explained to Du Xiaoyu that Ning Zhiqian just wasn't used to this kind of farewell. Du Xiaoyu was not discouraged and asked Liuzheng to give a gift to Ning Zhiqian on his behalf. Liuzheng later gave the gift to Ning Zhiqian, only to find a pink surgical cap inside the box. Ning Zhiqian shook his head repeatedly and refused to accept the gift.

Today happens to be Ning Zhiqian's birthday. Ding Yiyuan quietly put a watch on his desk while nobody was paying attention. Ning Zhiqian mistakenly thought it was a gift from Liuzheng and was pleased, but when he found out it was from Ding Yiyuan, he became angry and refused her kindness. She left with the watch in a huff and ran into Cheng Zhouyu. They argued for a while before Ding Yiyuan threw the watch and stormed off. Cheng Zhouyu found it strange and decided to keep the watch for himself.

After work, everyone celebrated Ning Zhiqian's birthday together, but Ding Yiyuan stubbornly refused to join in and even made a wish in front of everyone that she would not like Ning Zhiqian anymore next year. Everyone laughed and took a group photo. Ning Zhiqian used his birthday status to coax Liuzheng back to his home. Unexpectedly, Ning's father was also at home and warmly tried to match Liuzheng with Ning Zhiqian.
