Wen Suxi questioned Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng about the video from the editing room, which showed Chi Yu stopping a falling equipment case without special effects. She asked Hua Yecheng for an explanation. He launched into a convoluted and confusing lecture involving the principle of work and kinetic energy and algebraic sums, claiming that the video's phenomenon was scientifically reasonable due to unseen decisive elements and a misleading camera angle, creating an optical illusion.

He pointed out that if Chi Yu hadn't waved his hand, no one would have suspected him of having superpowers. While others found his explanation plausible, Wen Suxi remained unconvinced, particularly focusing on Chi Yu's hand gesture. She pressed him about why he waved his hand when the cases were behind her. Chi Yu casually replied that he just wanted to vent his feelings, then tried to leave with Hua Yecheng.

Wen Suxi, angered by his nonchalant attitude, stopped him, telling him to address her as "Director Wen." She further accused him of wanting to hit her and suggested he was defending Duola since she had been scolding Duola that day. Chi Yu denied this, and Lin Haoshu stepped in, reminding Wen Suxi that Chi Yu and Duola were acting as lovers.

Wen Suxi dismissed Hua Yecheng's physics explanation as "Baidu Baike plus nonsense" but acknowledged it might increase public attention for their film. She then demanded to know where Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng were going. They gave conflicting answers—"gym" and "cinema"—before settling on "gym first and then cinema." Wen Suxi, feeling overwhelmed with stress, sarcastically noted their leisure before Hua Yecheng delivered a philosophical monologue about living an interesting and noble life.

Wen Suxi then declared she would join them, determined to follow. Lin Haoshu also wanted to join, but Hua Yecheng challenged Chi Yu not to try and sneak away. The trio arrived at an archery range, rather than a gym or cinema. Hua Yecheng claimed archery was also a sport and that he and Chi Yu frequently visited. Wen Suxi decided to just watch them play.

Hua Yecheng secretly advised Chi Yu to deliberately miss the target to avoid raising Wen Suxi's suspicions. Both Chi Yu and Hua Yecheng then shot very poorly, leading Wen Suxi to tease them about their supposed frequent visits. She then stepped up and demonstrated her own impressive archery skills, hitting the target perfectly, and encouraged Chi Yu to practice more, especially since he was an actor.

Onlookers recognized Chi Yu from the viral superpower video, commenting on his good looks despite his poor shooting. Unwilling to be outdone, Chi Yu then shot an arrow with such force that it pierced through the bullseye, the target, and the wall behind it, astounding everyone. The owner informed Hua Yecheng that the damage amounted to over 7,000 yuan, covering three pierced targets, ten irretrievable arrows, and a damaged wall, noting Chi Yu's unusual strength.

When Hua Yecheng turned to Chi Yu to settle the bill, he discovered that Chi Yu and Wen Suxi had already left, leaving him to pay the hefty sum. Wen Suxi brought Chi Yu to a restaurant, where she checked his phone, claiming it was standard practice for an artist's manager. She was surprised to find only a few contacts, to which Chi Yu explained he had recently lost his old phone.

She then probed about his family, asking if they lived locally. Chi Yu vaguely stated they were "far away," asserting his privacy when she pressed for more details, though Wen Suxi teasingly suggested he was a mysterious rich second-generation heir. Chi Yu explained he had no one he "had" to contact, implying Wen Suxi was the exception.

Wen Suxi then steered the conversation back to the viral video, noting his strange behavior seemed to perfectly align with the "coincidences" in the footage. She conducted a subtle test by tossing him a piece of food, which he "failed" to catch. Listing his peculiar traits—abnormal behavior, incredible physical abilities, low IQ, and only drinking water—she openly questioned if he was an alien.

She interrogated him about his eating and bathroom habits, asking when he last ate despite it being lunchtime. When she ordered a burger and salad, Chi Yu claimed to be a "vegetarian" but then specified he only consumed "purely artificial, handmade" substances like gasoline, further fueling her suspicions.

Wen Suxi directly asked if he was an AI robot, and when he denied it, she playfully pinched his face, asking if he was a rented robot boyfriend or a mutant, comparing him to characters from TV dramas. Chi Yu, amused, dismissed her theories as childish fantasy. Wen Suxi broke a glass, profusely apologizing, but Chi Yu casually claimed she had done it on purpose and reassured her that she wouldn't have to pay.

He tried to reassure her by arguing that if he truly possessed superpowers, he wouldn't have allowed her to experience career crises or car accidents. Wen Suxi asked Chi Yu if he was truly leaving, a question he silently struggled to answer, attempting to steer the conversation towards happier topics. She pressed him, confirming that Hua Yecheng had not lied about their impending departure. Just then, Hua Yecheng arrived, expressing surprise at finding them there alone.

He quickly reassured Wen Suxi that they "wouldn't go for a while." Seizing the opportunity, Wen Suxi interrupted her line of questioning, claiming she had an interview to attend and had to leave immediately to handle "the mess caused by his powers." She declined Chi Yu's offer to accompany her, saying he would only cause more trouble.

After Wen Suxi departed, Hua Yecheng sternly advised Chi Yu to maintain emotional distance from her, emphasizing that his role was to protect her and rectify the energy loss from three thousand years ago, not to entangle himself in her life. He warned that Chi Yu was a wanted fugitive from the Big Dipper, and that the deeper his presence in Wen Suxi's life, the more difficult her future would be after he inevitably left.

Hua Yecheng urged Chi Yu to consider the pain she would endure. Chi Yu, left alone and deeply saddened by Hua Yecheng's words, pondered why fate had brought them together only for a destined separation, wishing they had never met. During a press conference for her new film, Wen Suxi promised to deliver her best work.

Reporters immediately steered the conversation to the rumored romance between the film's lead actors, Chi Yu and Duola, citing their "close contact" and widespread fan desire for them to be a couple. Wen Suxi firmly clarified that they were merely colleagues, dismissing any romantic speculation.

Her assistant later voiced her frustration, believing Wen Suxi missed a prime marketing opportunity by not capitalizing on the rumored coupledom, suggesting Wen Suxi seemed "against" Duola and Chi Yu, like "a mother-in-law who looks down upon her son-in-law," which annoyed Wen Suxi. Meanwhile, Duola watched Wen Suxi's interview and was visibly disappointed by the clarification. Hu Dongkai, her dedicated driver, arrived, offering to take her out given Chi Yu's current popularity.

Duola declined, saying she was leaving, but Hu Dongkai insisted he was her exclusive driver. Duola then jokingly asked Hu Dongkai if he lived alone and if he wanted to move in with her. Surprised but agreeable, Hu Dongkai accepted.

Duola then outlined her extravagant demands for him to "support" her: a downtown villa with a garden, the latest designer fashion every month, bespoke meals from a Michelin-starred chef, and a base monthly allowance of 500,000 yuan, with more for holidays. Hu Dongkai, slightly daunted by the costs, nevertheless enthusiastically agreed, vowing to work hard to meet her demands, which amused Duola.

Duola then playfully asked him to buy her an "extra-large iced and sugar-free Caffè Americano" immediately, which he readily agreed to. Cai Shumeng met with Tang Mao, where they discussed the viral video of Chi Yu, with Cai Shumeng suggesting Wen Suxi's hype tactics were improving. Cai Shumeng then inquired about Tang Mao's decision regarding her previous "suggestion." Tang Mao received a phone call from Jiang Yu, who reported on his investigation into the stolen hard drive.

Jiang Yu revealed that Xiao Di, Cai Shumeng's assistant, was the other individual present at the company that night, disguised in a non-standard cleaning uniform. Jiang Yu had traced the uniform to a specific shop where the owner remembered selling only one such uniform to Xiao Di. He concluded that Xiao Di had provided Wen Suxi with the fake hard drive. Realizing Cai Shumeng's deception, Tang Mao ended the call and invited her to dinner.

During the meal, Tang Mao became unusually attentive. He casually brought up the theft at Wen Suxi's home, confessing that he was behind it in search of a hard drive. When Cai Shumeng asked why he wanted "her" hard drive, Tang Mao corrected her, claiming it was "his" hard drive. Cai Shumeng grew visibly nervous. Tang Mao then encouraged her to eat, remarking that she was "losing weight for marriage," before suddenly proposing, saying, "I'll marry you."

Cai Shumeng was taken aback. Tang Mao explained that after their last conversation, he had reflected on his past mistakes and wished to move forward, wanting her by his side as his future support. Tang Mao then asserted that, as two business people, marrying quickly would publicly declare her as "his woman," something he believed she desired, thereby avoiding wasting time on drawn-out discussions.

Excusing herself to the restroom, Cai Shumeng mentally debated whether Tang Mao had discovered her role in the hard drive incident and yet still proposed, questioning his sincerity and viewing it as a high-stakes gamble with only one winner. Upon her return, Tang Mao pressed her for a wedding date, stating, "as soon as possible." Lin Haoshu found Wang Xiaomi with friends admiring Chi Yu's viral video and his "charming look."

He approached her, observing that she hadn't become Chi Yu's apprentice to learn acting, but for some other purpose. He probed, asking if Chi Yu had taught her martial arts, magical skills, or superpowers. Wang Xiaomi playfully evaded his questions, suggesting he wouldn't get "confidential information" so easily.

When Lin Haoshu persisted, asking if she had witnessed any extraordinary abilities, Wang Xiaomi paused, then vaguely recalled only Chi Yu's "charming look" that could make anyone fall in love, hinting that Wen Suxi herself was captivated by it. Frustrated, Lin Haoshu left, mentioning a date with a woman.

Later that night, Chi Yu was by a river, lost in thought, remembering Hua Yecheng's stark warning about maintaining distance from Wen Suxi and the inevitable pain their separation would bring, and questioning if she would grieve for him. Wen Suxi, on a night run, stumbled upon him.

She asked what he was thinking, but Chi Yu, burdened by thoughts of their painful future separation, tried to make an excuse to leave, claiming it was late and he was going home. Wen Suxi stopped him, asking what Hua Yecheng meant by saying they "won't go back for the time being." When Chi Yu remained silent, Wen Suxi declared she had something to tell him and placed her headphones on his head.
