His mother had lovingly made the rice cakes, hoping to bring joy to Nan Sheng.
This poignant memory brought tears to Qiao Man's eyes, and she asked Lin Heping to convey her thanks to his mother. Xu Ali visited Lin Heping again, this time to propose withdrawing her shares from Li Ping Pavilion. She confessed that she had always viewed the company as a "bond of love" between them, believing her dedication would solidify their relationship. However, now that it was clear they could never be together, she saw no reason to remain.
Lin Heping readily agreed to inform the board the next day. Han Sen visited Qiao Man and informed her that Xu Ali was indeed the mastermind behind the recent counterfeiting scandal at Li Ping Pavilion. Qiao Man, though somewhat prepared, was still surprised. She then asked Han Sen if he had known all along that she and Qiao Fang were not biological sisters.
