After an evening at Zuo An’s apartment, where he gently insisted she take the bed and he the sofa, both Xiaoman and Zuo An were delighted by their close proximity. Xiaoman also secretly realized she was likely the first girl to stay overnight, which further pleased her. As she settled into bed, Zuo An, initially flipping through books, then noticed her feigning sleep. He thoughtfully pulled her hand under the covers and tucked her in.
Xiaoman silently cherished his thoughtful care, smiling to herself with happiness once he had left her side. Xiaoman then drifted into a dream, finding herself back in her martial arts world with Zuo An, where they were renowned as "legendary doctor couple." They successfully healed a man injured by a horse, and Zuo An also praised Xiaoman's skills, making her overjoyed. The next morning, Zuo An prepared breakfast.
