A wealthy merchant paid a high price for a mute dancer and began harassing her publicly. Unable to bear it, Song Xiaoyu intervened, knocking into the merchant and escaping with the dancer. The merchant and his men gave chase. Li Shiliu and Chu Guihong fought to a draw, and Chu Guihong realized Li Shiliu was testing weapons, so he quickly withdrew. After Song Xiaoyu rescued the dancer, an arrow was suddenly fired and struck the dancer, startling her.
The merchant’s group caught up, ready to attack Song Xiaoyu. Shangguan He and others watched from behind a tree, discussing who should make a move against Song Yimeng. Just as the merchant raised his blade, Li Shiliu appeared and blocked it. Duan Shanhu distracted Song Yimeng while Po Yunlong tried to assassinate her, but Duan Shanhu stopped him. Song Xiaoyu assumed Po Yunlong had something wrong with his head.
