Long Yixiao took Zhuang Momo to the outskirts for a trip. He carefully examined Zhuang Momo's face and made her feel embarrassed. Zhuang Momo said that she was not pretty, but Long Yixiao said that her face had already taken root in his heart and he dreamt about her every night. Long Yixiao told Zhuang Momo to give him some time, and he would make her the true lady of the Long family.
However, Zhuang Momo was worried about the relationship between the Zhuang and Long families, but Long Yixiao believed in her and her parents, who he thought were wrongly accused. Long Yixiao gave Zhuang Momo his personal jade pendant and told her that seeing the jade was the same as seeing him in person.

Miss Liu and Lady Long were angry when they saw Long Yixiao carrying Zhuang Momo and accused her of being improper, but Long Yixiao stopped them and announced publicly that he would marry Zhuang Momo.
