Lin Weixu, a female National Division of the Daqin Kingdom, has destroyed the Nanzhao Kingdom in one fell swoop and is now in power.

One day, she meets Fu Su, a mermaid captive who was abused by the Da Li Si, and rescues him.

They start a sweet journey of mutual healing and work together to find out the real culprit who killed the old National Division and clean up the spies in the court.

The story takes place in the Daqin Kingdom, Nanzhao Kingdom and Beiqi Kingdom during the period of the three kingdoms. National Division Lin Weixu made a great contribution to Daqin Kingdom by leading her troops to take down Nanzhao Kingdom. After Nanzhao Kingdom was destroyed, Prince Fu Su was also captured by Da Li Si and escaped from there.

One day, Lin Weixu and her attendant A Jiu were walking on the street when they suddenly saw people from Da Li Si chasing Fu Su. Fu Su was covered by a fishing net and surrounded by people from Da Li Si who kept beating him. One of them even said that this little merman should be played with and that he dared to escape. Today he must be taught a lesson.

Seeing them beating him like this, Lin Weixu couldn’t bear it and went up to fight with A Jiu. When people from Da Li Si saw them fighting back, they asked about their origins. A Jiu then revealed the name of the National Division’s Mansion. When they heard that they were from the National Division’s Mansion, those people from Da Li Si quickly fled.

Lin Weixu returned to her mansion and saw a dagger on the table. She couldn’t help but think of the scene where her master was killed. Lin Weixu quickly explained that she didn’t poison his food.

Lin Weixu took out the dagger made from the fish fins of the merfolk and asked Fu Su if he recognized it. Fu Su looked at the dagger and shook his head. Lin Rulian couldn’t believe that Chen Moxi was a spy from Beiqi Kingdom. Lin Rulian is Xiao Linzi’s full name and he is currently worried. Gu Danmo suddenly walked in with a box of snacks. The guards of the cell were just about to stop him when Fu Su lifted his hand and knocked them unconscious with a gentle wave.

After returning to the National Division's residence, Fu Su saw that Lin Weixu's water-forbidden curse had indeed flared up again. He carried her to the bed and kissed her by biting his lip. After doing this, he turned around and left, telling Lin Weixu in his heart that he had never wanted to deceive or harm her. Lin Weixu was the first person to treat him kindly, but he could only bring her misfortune. Therefore, he decided to temporarily leave her and return when he found a way to completely remove the water-forbidden curse.

As Fu Su walked out of Lin Weixu's room, he met Lin Rulian and Chen Moxi face to face. Official Ning from the Da Li Si had suspicions about Gu Danmo, so he quietly went to Gu Danmo's room while he was away and found various weapons inside.
