> Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy Recap

The news of the Eight Tribal Kings' deaths in mutual slaughter spread across Hanzhou. Although the Iron King was still alive, he could not stop the proliferation of hatred among the tribes. Eventually, the Eight Tribes were instantly routed when facing Murun Tiantong's army, and the Iron King fell by the Muyun clan's silver feather arrows. From then on, Hanzhou came under the control of the Murun cavalry for three hundred years, forbidden to own warhorses or weapons.

Over this long period, all Hanzhou citizens forgot that the Muyun and Murun clans were once also Hanzhou people, and forgot the past unity of the Eight Tribes. Standing before the Iron King Sword, Shuofeng Heye was told by Su He that the one who possesses the Iron King Sword must shoulder the destiny of all Hanzhou, a heavy responsibility of iron and blood, implying a future of endless battle.

Shuofeng Heye, unwavering, declared he was born for this and that battle was his reason for existence. Su He, satisfied, knelt and took the Kuafu Axe from Shuofeng Heye. He roared to the great Panta ancestors, offering his life to use his Shatan abilities and his own flesh and blood to unseal the Iron King Sword, vowing eternal loyalty to the Iron King.

The surrounding altar emitted lava-like light, and the Kuafu Axe in Su He's hand turned red as he walked towards the Iron King Sword. He struck the sword, but was repelled and thrown back by a feedback. Su He urged Shuofeng Heye to quickly draw the sword.

Shuofeng Heye temporarily left Su He to ascend the altar, picked up the Kuafu Axe and secured it at his waist, then forcefully pulled the Iron King Sword from its resting place with both hands. Upon extracting the Iron King Sword, Shuofeng Heye swore that from that day forward, he would fight every day until he reached Tianqi City and heard the wails of the Muyun and Murun clans, only then would his heart find peace.

He declared that the three hundred years of generational hatred in Hanzhou were destined to end with him. The appearance of the Iron King caused an anomaly in Hanzhou's sky; all dark clouds dispersed, and the earth recovered its vitality. The old woman of the Danyao tribe smiled wholeheartedly at this sight.

Hanzhou citizens forced to feed horses in the Murun cavalry camps brimmed with expectation and confidence in the Iron King, and even Helan Tieyuan felt a surge of power, desiring to wage war against the Murun clan. The Iron King Sword's extraction and the destruction of the underground palace's seal meant the destruction of the star trajectory. In the Stargazing Pavilion, Ling Heqing watched these events unfold with great unease.

He realized that the peace bought with the lives of the Huangji Jingtian Sect ancestors for the Duan Dynasty would cease to exist, and a great war across Kyushu was imminent. For the peace of the Duan Dynasty, Ling Heqing, after careful thought, decided to reveal the ancestors' secret to Muyun Qin.

Meanwhile, in Hanzhou, Shuofeng Heye helped the gravely wounded Su He out of the underground palace, hoping Su He could hold on until they reached the Danyao tribe where the Danyao old woman could save him. Su He, however, knew his condition was critical and he couldn't last much longer; he wished to remain in that place of ancestral glory, listening to stories of Hanzhou's ancestors.

At Weiping Zhai, Yu Xinji delivered Muyun Qin's order, confining Muyun Yunsheng there, forbidding him from leaving. Muyun Yunsheng was unconcerned by the destruction of the star trajectory and instead focused on studying the "Spirit Charm Book" Pan Xi had left for him. Elsewhere, Ling Heqing requested an imperial audience, hoping Muyun Qin would dispatch heavy troops to guard Hanzhou, as he predicted a Hanzhou rebellion.

With the star trajectory destroyed, Ling Heqing could no longer observe the heavens, so Muyun Qin questioned the source of his prediction. Ling Heqing, prepared for the Emperor's skepticism, revealed the agreement struck three hundred years prior between Ling Yufeong and Murun Tiantong: Ling Yufeong, for the sake of all living beings, disregarded ancestral teachings to use secret blood arts to dismantle the Hanzhou Iron Army and the Eight Tribes Alliance.

Ling Yufeong, before his departure, had left behind a magic artifact, the Star Cloud Orb, and a prophecy stating that its destruction would mark the beginning of the Duan Dynasty's end. Now, with the Star Cloud Orb shattered, the Duan Dynasty was destined for great hardship. Muyun Qin was enraged by Ling Heqing's revelation. The Huangji Jingtian Sect strictly forbade the use of secret arts, yet Ling Yufeong had breached this ancestral rule for Murun Tiantong.

Muyun Qin believed Ling Yufeong's loyalty lay with Murun Tiantong, not the Muyun clan. He recalled how Murun Tiantong had easily pacified Hanzhou, earning him universal praise as a hero. If Murun Tiantong had not inexplicably disappeared afterward, the throne might not have belonged to the Muyun clan.

Murun Suo, a descendant of the Murun clan, hearing this, humbly affirmed his clan's loyalty to Muyun Qin, vowing that the Murun clan would uphold their promise for generations and guard the Muyun empire. Trust can be shattered in an instant. Muyun Qin's trust in Murun Suo had eroded due to successive external provocations. He confronted Murun Suo, bringing up Murun Hanjian's abduction of Su Yuning and his enticement of Muyun Yunsheng to find the Imperial Seal.

Murun Suo, greatly alarmed, hastily assured Muyun Qin that he would properly deal with Murun Hanjian. Muyun Qin, however, was uninterested in Murun Suo's disciplinary methods. He turned to announce his decree: Ling Heqing was stripped of his High Priest position and imprisoned for his negligence in failing to prevent the star trajectory's destruction.

Ling Heqing pleaded for his position, asserting that though the star trajectory was destroyed, his eyes could still see, and he could observe the heavens for Muyun Qin. Muyun Qin approached Ling Heqing, stating frankly that if Ling Heqing's heart was not with him, he would be exploited by others, and Muyun Qin would never permit such a thing to happen.

Ling Heqing, imprisoned in a lightless dungeon and deprived of the sight of the sun, moon, and stars, wept, believing the downfall of the Duan Dynasty was imminent. At the Murun residence, Murun Hanchuan was reprimanded by Murun Suo for his inadequate supervision of Murun Hanjian. Murun Suo, well aware of Muyun Qin's growing suspicion towards the Murun family, resolved to personally pursue and kill Murun Hanjian.

As he prepared to ride off, Muyun Yan, his wife and Murun Hanjian's mother, threatened to take her own life with a dagger, begging Murun Suo to spare Murun Hanjian. Murun Suo refused, convinced that only Murun Hanjian's head presented at Qinfeng Palace would serve as a sufficient explanation to Muyun Qin and regain the Emperor's trust.

He reminded Muyun Yan that the Muyun and Murun surnames had been intertwined by a promise three hundred years ago, and only mutual trust could prevent chaos in the realm. He also stated that since she was his wife, Muyun Yan was a Murun woman, and he could not grant her request.

Devastated, Muyun Yan chose to end her life by slitting her throat at the Murun manor gate, despairing that she was not only Murun Suo's wife but also Murun Hanjian's mother. News of Muyun Yan's death reached Muyun Qin, who grew weary and struggled to decipher Murun Suo's true intentions, beginning to question his own decisions.

Murun Suo, deeply grieving his wife, wept alone in his room, clutching Muyun Yan's hairpin, as years of marital affection had led him to love her profoundly. In the forest, Su Yuning started a fire to warm herself, but Murun Hanjian's cold demeanor and words caused her to misunderstand, believing he saw her as a source of misfortune, and she sadly left. Moments later, Murun Hanjian secretly took out a bracelet and examined it.

Su Yuning, who had turned back, witnessed this, but Murun Hanjian still refused to admit that what he was looking at belonged to her. The next day, as Murun Hanjian and Su Yuning continued their journey, Su Yuning asked if he missed anyone. Murun Hanjian replied that he did, but it was his mother.
