Mu Rusu and Gu Songzhi express deep concern, fearing both the fulfillment of Muyun Sheng's fated destiny and the potential for Nanku Mingyi to seek revenge against Muyun Qin. The Nanku clan, once arrogant and now massacred with only Nanku Mingyi remaining, is unlikely to accept their fate. Wu Ruyi delivers Muyun Qin's decree, allowing Nanku Mingyi to leave the palace to visit her son.

Initially delighted, Nanku Mingyi begins preparing her precious jewelry to sell for silver notes for her son, Muyun Hege. However, Wu Ruyi clarifies that Muyun Qin wishes for her to visit Muyun Sheng, pointedly referring to her as "Lady Yin Rong." Stunned, Nanku Mingyi's joy turns to profound despair as she realizes she is no longer Nanku Mingyi but Yin Rong.

She is further devastated upon learning that Muyun Sheng is now the candidate for Crown Prince, smashing objects and lamenting how her powerful Nanku clan fell due to Yin Rong and Muyun Sheng, only for Muyun Sheng to become the heir. Muyun Qin, arriving to escort her, overhears her crying in her chambers that she refuses to be Yin Rong's substitute. He leaves without entering.

Meanwhile, in the Phantom Realm, Pan Xi is controlled by Youyou Mei and tortured by crows he summoned. Muyun Sheng, though grateful Youyou Mei saved Muyun Qin, states he doesn't want Youyou Mei to exist. Youyou Mei, ambitious, boasts that he is the most talented among Tianqi City's princes and the destined emperor. He vows to slaughter all who oppose him, believing that only by eliminating the weak and preserving the strong can Kyushu achieve a true future.

Youyou Mei attempts to persuade Muyun Sheng to concede his body, and Muyun Sheng, seemingly agreeing to save Pan Xi, promises to return quickly after retrieving something from reality. However, Muyun Sheng soon remembers the day of his charm transformation and decides to return to reality to find a way to assist Youyou Mei in retaining Pan Xi, but with a different intention.

Back in reality, Muyun Sheng awakens and instructs Yu Xinji to stand ready to stab him if he shows any signs of abnormality. He then takes the Muyun Illusion Pearl and re-enters the Phantom Realm. Before Youyou Mei, Muyun Sheng merges the Muyun Pearl into his own body. Instead of yielding, he stabs himself, utilizing Yu Xinji's power to seal Youyou Mei.

Youyou Mei is astonished that Muyun Sheng found a way to seal him, attempting to dissuade him by warning that without his power, Muyun Sheng will become weak and be bullied by the world. Muyun Sheng, embodying his inherently good nature, declares that he would rather endure bullying than allow Youyou Mei to harm others. With Youyou Mei sealed again, Pan Xi is freed from her torment.

She uses secret arts to heal Muyun Sheng, who had fainted from his injuries. Muyun Sheng confesses his inner darkness, fearing Pan Xi might be afraid of the Youyou Mei residing within him.

Pan Xi, however, smiles and reassures him, saying she also saw herself in his heart and wants to reside there with him, to witness the complexities of human hearts, experience the world's myriad loves, hates, and sufferings, understand his thoughts, ease his worries, and dispel his lifelong loneliness. Muyun Sheng, embracing Pan Xi tightly, confirms his own feelings, vowing that they will be together, inseparable, forever.

Upon their return to reality, Pan Xi and Muyun Sheng enjoy a period of peaceful happiness in their bamboo house. However, this tranquility is shattered when Muyun Qin arrives, accompanied by Nanku Mingyi, who appears to have resigned herself to her identity as Yin Rong for the public ceremony. Wu Ruyi officially proclaims Muyun Qin's decree: Muyun Sheng is named Crown Prince.

Muyun Sheng kneels to receive the imperial edict, but there is no joy in his heart, as his quiet life is now destined to be irrevocably changed. Concurrently, at Manggu Mountain's seaside, Muyun Yanshuang's silver armored army binds Shuofeng Heye to a pillar positioned on the Snow Wolf King's usual path for drinking water.

Muyun Yanshuang then stabs his arm, the easiest place to draw blood, intending to use his fresh blood to lure the Snow Wolf King, which she plans to kill with a silver feather arrow. Shuofeng Heye, using Muyun Yanshuang's hand, dips it in his own blood and draws Shuofeng tribal blood marks on his face, declaring that his ancestors will fight with him and he is not alone. Gu Songzhi then kicks Shuofeng Heye away.

Undeterred, Shuofeng Heye rises and begins to perform his tribe's sacrificial dance, calling upon the protection of Panda. He continues his dance tirelessly from day until night, as a blizzard begins to sweep across the snowy landscape. Finally, as darkness descends, the Snow Wolf King appears. Hearing its roars, Muyun Yanshuang reaches for her silver feather arrow, ready to charge, but Gu Songzhi immediately restrains her, warning that confronting the fierce Snow Wolf King directly would be suicide.

He advises waiting for the Snow Wolf King to consume Shuofeng Heye, then striking and taking its heart while it is distracted. Meanwhile, in the blizzard-swept snow, Shuofeng Heye battles the Snow Wolf King with his Kua Fu Axe, but he is clearly outmatched. The Snow Wolf King throws him but surprisingly does not devour him. Instead, it circles him, and a mark identical to the one on the Kua Fu Axe appears on its forehead.

As Shuofeng Heye attempts to touch the Snow Wolf King, Muyun Yanshuang, having ridden to the scene, shoots a silver feather arrow, striking the Snow Wolf King in the leg and causing it to collapse. With the Snow Wolf King immobilized, Shuofeng Heye quickly pulls the arrow from its leg and urges it to flee. By the time Muyun Yanshuang reaches him, the Snow Wolf King has vanished.

She attempts to retrieve more silver feather arrows, but Shuofeng Heye, to ensure the creature's safety, fiercely snatches and breaks all her remaining arrows, enraging her. The next day, Muyun Yanshuang confronts Shuofeng Heye, demanding to know why he released the Snow Wolf King.

He explains that in the Snow Wolf King, he saw the forgotten past of the Hanzhou people – their former unity and glory – and declared that he would never allow the Snow Wolf King to die. Since she couldn't kill the Snow Wolf King, Muyun Yanshuang announces she will take Shuofeng Heye's life with her final silver feather arrow.

She orders him released and tells him to run, vowing that she will count to one thousand, and no matter where he runs, the arrow will pierce his heart. Shuofeng Heye, determined not to fall, runs with all his might. However, as Muyun Yanshuang counts to one thousand, she ultimately abandons her shot, ordering her troops to return to camp.

Gu Songzhi observes her actions with unease, noting how she repeatedly breaks protocol and even spares Shuofeng Heye's life, realizing her feelings for him are far more profound than she lets on.
