Su Yi went to the archives to look for locked files, where she was confronted by Li Jiashang. He pointed out that such an important place was protected and that he had installed cameras. Su Yi claimed she was merely passing by and took a look, but Li Jiashang showed her his phone, which indicated three incorrect password attempts on the locked files. He demanded an explanation, threatening to call the police for corporate espionage.

Su Yi retorted that if the Lee Group had secrets, they shouldn't be afraid of police investigation. Li Jiashang countered that he could sue her for defamation. He then stated that there was nothing in the archives that "Director Su" wanted to know, but there was something "Mu Xiao" wanted to know, questioning if Su Yi still wished to pursue it. Su Yi was left speechless. Su Yi confided in Xia Xiyang about needing to obtain Li Jiashang's fingerprint.

After much discussion, they decided that attending Zheng He's birthday party next Thursday would allow them to get close to Li Jiashang and obtain his fingerprint. Zheng He's birthday celebration took place at a KTV. Su Yi realized Li Jiashang was not there. Zheng He admitted Li Jiashang wasn't there, but Xia Xiyang persuaded Zheng He to invite Li Jiashang. Li Jiashang soon arrived.

Su Yi then put her plan into action, attempting to get Li Jiashang drunk through various drinking games to obtain his fingerprint, but she did not succeed. Xia Xiyang, meanwhile, became heavily intoxicated. As the party ended, Xia Xiyang was heavily intoxicated, and Zheng He had to take her home.

On the way, Xia Xiyang explicitly told Zheng He that she wouldn't interact with him if not for Su Yi, warning him not to harbor any intentions towards her, and then went home by herself. The next day, Zheng He confessed to Li Jiashang that no woman had ever made him feel so humble, only Xia Xiyang. Just then, Xia Xiyang called Zheng He, asking him to meet her, and Zheng He quickly left.

Xia Xiyang met with Zheng He and apologized for her previous drunken words and behavior. During their conversation, Zheng He received a call from an unknown number, informing him that information about Su Yi's stay in Japan had been emailed to him. Meanwhile, Xia Xiyang secretly sent a voice message to Su Yi, confirming that Su Yi's information in Japan had been leaked and the mission was accomplished.

Xia Xiyang then abruptly claimed she had unfinished business and left, leaving Zheng He bewildered. Back at the office, Zheng He pondered whether he had masochistic tendencies due to his complicated feelings for Xia Xiyang. He then informed Li Jiashang that he had obtained information about Su Yi from Japan, delivering the difficult news: Su Yi was not Mu Xiao. Though hesitant, Li Jiashang had to accept the truth.

Zheng He explained that Xia Xiyang had "unintentionally" revealed that Su Yi had studied in Ocean City before university in Japan. Li Jiashang, however, suspected Xia Xiyang had intentionally leaked this information, given Su Yi's deliberate concealment of her identity. Puzzled by Su Yi's intentions and the timing of this revelation, Li Jiashang couldn't understand why she was hiding.

Zheng He suggested directly asking Su Yi and immediately called her, feigning a need to sign a new contract with Ming Xiu, to get her to come over. Su Yi arrived at Li Jiashang's home with a bottle of wine. After he signed the contract, she offered to cook and drink to celebrate. Li Jiashang, however, insisted he was the better cook.

After dinner, Li Jiashang spoke of his previous girlfriend, describing her as a lifelong bond, and expressed his wish to find her again. Later, Li Jiashang accidentally broke a wine glass and cut his hand while clearing the shards. Su Yi quickly helped him stop the bleeding. Li Jiashang claimed his back hurt more than his hand and asked her to apply medicine to his back. Taking the opportunity, Li Jiashang pulled her into a kiss, and they fell onto the sofa.
