Jin Yurong was taken by someone and woke up surrounded by kidnapped girls locked in a dark room. The girls were all drugged and brought there. Now, Long Ge has found Jin Yurong's gun and package. Zhao Zhengnan wants to use money to find out where Jin Yurong and her companions are, but Long Ge only knows that there is a mine owned by Bai Tuan who is related to this. Jin Yurong asked the girls if they wanted to escape. The door was hardly ever opened except to deliver food. Jin Yurong wanted to find a way to escape. After learning that Jin Yurong was in danger, Zhao Zhengnan wanted to rescue her alone. Jin Yurong pretended that a girl was sick with a fever and asked the man to open the door. When the man opened the door, Jin Yurong knocked him out and planned to take the girls and escape. Zhao Zhengnan found Bai Tuan, who was sleeping and easily subdued. Jin Yurong knew that the group was afraid of female ghosts, so she wrapped herself in white cloth in hopes of escaping. Jin Yurong led everyone downstairs where the burly men were drunk. She tried to open the door, but the men caught them. Jin Yurong told everyone to run away while she stayed behind. The girls ran into Zhao Zhengnan's car and when they learned that Jin Yurong was still inside, Zhao Zhengnan rushed to rescue her. Jin Yurong was about to be shot, but Zhao Zhengnan arrived just in time to save her. Jin Yurong fell asleep on Zhao Zhengnan's shoulder.

In fact, Sheng's father sent someone to kill Jin Yurong for his daughter, but unexpectedly Zhao Zhengnan rescued her. Zhao Zhengnan took good care of Jin Yurong after bringing her back, and promised to be with her. Zhao Zhengnan was very worried when he learned that Jin Yurong had disappeared, and Jin Yurong was also grateful for everything Zhao Zhengnan had done for her. She was also worried about Bu Ri Gu De's comfort, and Zhao Zhengnan said he would accompany her to find Bu Ri Gu De. He then went back to his room to rest, and returned the gun to Jin Yurong, showing that he had done too much to help her. Zhao Zhengnan also learned that the killer was sent by the Sheng family and he wouldn't forgive them. Since it was Wu's territory, he planned to leave as soon as possible. Wu's father planned to make sure Zhao Zhengnan wouldn't come back alive after knowing he was in Kulun.

Jin Yurong and Zhao Zhengnan went to find Bu Ri Gu De, but they learned from her cousin that Bu Ri Gu De had not returned. They had to leave without her. Before leaving, Jin Yurong redeemed Amber. They planned to go back to Beijing together, and Zhao Zhengnan said they could go on adventures together in the future. They shared a candlelit dinner on the train, and Zhao Zhengnan even arranged a whole lamb for Jin Yurong. However, a waiter attempted to attack Zhao Zhengnan, but he managed to avoid it. Unfortunately, Zhao Zhengnan was shot while protecting Jin Yurong. She was worried about him and helped to stop the bleeding. They needed to remove the bullet from Zhao Zhengnan's chest as soon as possible. Luckily, with Jin Yurong being a nurse, she took care of him all the time. However, the train suddenly broke down at night, and time was running out. Yan Cheng informed Jin Yurong, who prepared surgical tools with the help of her team. Zhao Zhengnan woke up and trusted her skills. They were now ready for the operation.
