Sikong Changfeng, however, remained calm, thinking it wasn’t wrong for a master and disciple to fall in love.

After scolding Luo Mingxuan, Yin Luoxia instructed Wushuang to reject Song Yanhui on her behalf. Since fate had been missed and the broken mirror couldn’t be mended, there was no need to hold on. That evening, Wushuang passed by a tavern and met Mu Yumou. They sat down and chatted, during which he learned about her complicated entanglements with Tang Lianyue. To Wushuang, this feared assassin leader was merely a Jianghu person caught in circumstances.

Mu Yumou admired the youth before her and uncharacteristically showed tenderness. Su Muyu entered from outside, ready to take her away. His sword moved gracefully and effortlessly, dissipating the oncoming sword qi into nothingness.

In the end, the Wrathful Sword Immortal was outmatched, and the outcome was clear. Xiao Chong rushed in from outside to check on the injured Wrathful Sword Immortal and ordered him taken back to the Bai Residence to rest. Seeing this, Lei Wujie wanted to challenge Luo Qingyang, but before he could finish his sentence, Wushuang appeared with his sword case on his back—he was Xiao Chong’s final trump card.

As twelve flying swords shot forth, Luo Qingyang showed an appreciative expression and marveled at such a rare talent in Wushuang City. Thus, he was forced to summon the Grand Ming Vermilion Bird, drawing everyone’s attention.
