Although Baihe Stronghold resisted fiercely, the zombie demons kept increasing and getting closer. Lin Yueru and Li Xiaoyao used martial arts to fend them off. Liu Jinyuan and the Third Leader led everyone to block the entrance. After fighting for a while, Li Xiaoyao asked Han Mengci, saying that the zombie demon horde was huge and struggling to resist might be futile.

Han Mengci said that the zombie demons were only active at night and would retreat after a while, when dawn breaks. Therefore, they still had to resist with all their might. Han Mengci was worried that the zombie demons might have already crossed Baihe Stronghold and entered the village, as Baihe Stronghold was a defense line on the edge of the village.

Han Mengci decided to return to Baihe Village first to aid the villagers and let Li Xiaoyao lead the group to resist the zombie demons. Zhao Ling'er suddenly rose into the air and cast a spell to temporarily control the zombie demons. After a moment, the zombie demons began to retreat section by section. The next day, villagers who were bitten by zombie demons began to be successively sent to the medical hut.

Some villagers were simply burned directly in open areas. This was because if the zombie poison didn't subside during the day, those bitten by zombie demons would have a recurrence of the poison at night and randomly bite their own family members. Therefore, family members could only bear the pain and let them go. Seeing their loved ones burned alive, Zhao Ling'er was filled with compassion and rushed to the medical hut to help.

Some villagers began to blame Han Mengci for improper defense, which led to the zombie demons entering the village. Han Mengci could not refute them. After the villagers left, Lin Yueru comforted Han Mengci. She told her that as long as she had done her best, she didn't need to take the villagers' words too much to heart.

Although Li Xiaoyao repeatedly cautioned Zhao Ling'er not to overexert her internal energy and cast the Soul Revival Spell, facing the villagers bitten by zombie demons, Zhao Ling'er couldn't bear it. The man then realized he had wrongly accused Zhao Ling'er and repeatedly nodded in apology. There are evil people and kind demons; it's just that the world has too much prejudice. Seeing Han Yixian explain this way, Zhao Ling'er felt a sense of relief. She put the blood-stained handkerchief aside and returned to Baihe Stronghold to rest. Han Yixian secretly took Zhao Ling'er's handkerchief. A Nu brought Tang Yu to the medical hut to find Han Yixian and followed him to a wilderness graveyard.

There, Han Yixian sent out a golden light, and the tomb door opened accordingly. After Han Yixian went in, the two also followed him into the tomb. They saw Han Yixian walk towards a stone tomb. The stone tomb was tightly bound by several iron chains. Han Yixian took out the handkerchief, extracted the blood from it, and dripped it onto the stone tomb.

Immediately after, the tomb door opened, and a corpse with half a skull face leaped into the air. Han Yixian sent out several halos to control the body suspended in the air, muttering that he had finally revived his old friend. After the body lay back in the stone coffin, the Earth Spirit Orb suddenly appeared. A Nu couldn't wait and walked directly towards the stone coffin to retrieve the Earth Spirit Orb. Just as she touched the Earth Spirit Orb, the body suddenly became active and leaped out of the stone coffin instantly.
