After Bao Pu returned to normal, he set the peach blossom forest on fire, and the sacred tree was inevitably affected. He also claimed to be Lin Yueru's friend, snatched the Spirit Pearl, and injured Zhao Ling'er. Lin Yueru retrieved the cherry candy Li Xiaoyao had lost and Zhao Ling'er's hair tie, only then realizing what Bao Pu had done.

Li Xiaoyao verbally blamed Bao Pu for injuring Zhao Ling'er but didn't seem to care much about the loss of the Spirit Pearl. Lin Yueru returned the items retrieved from the sacred tree to the two, and they finally regained their memories. Lin Yueru suggested setting off as soon as possible, as they had been delayed for three days in Peach Blossom Village. Li Xiaoyao saw the sky full of smoke and proposed helping to put out the fire first.

Zhao Ling'er also thought that since no one was ultimately harmed, it was necessary to help. The three rushed to the peach blossom forest, where raging flames were engulfing the peach trees. The water source was far away, and waiting for the villagers to fetch water to extinguish the fire would be a drop in the bucket. Zhao Ling'er summoned a small phoenix. Wherever its golden wings went, the flames were immediately extinguished.

The villagers cheered, and the Village Chief was overjoyed and wept. Lin Yueru returned the peach blossom branch, cautioning them not to force others to stay again. A Tao stepped forward to plead for her father. After getting the peach blossom branch back, she lightly struck the sacred tree, which immediately regained its former lushness, and the peach blossoms bloomed even more vibrantly. The next day, A Tao suggested that Song Hewen also leave with Li Xiaoyao.

Song Hewen expressed his genuine love for A Tao and therefore did not want to leave. A Tao felt that she had deceived Song Hewen and insisted on leaving. Bao Pu reported the Spirit Pearl to Taoist Mu, mentioning there was more than one. Taoist Mu quickly rushed to Peach Blossom Village and ordered Zhao Ling'er to hand over the Spirit Pearl. Zhao Ling'er certainly did not agree.

As a fierce battle was about to unfold, Lin Yueru fought with Bao Pu, while Li Xiaoyao and Zhao Ling'er jointly dealt with Taoist Mu. Taoist Mu saw Li Xiaoyao using the Shushan sword technique and asked who his master was. Li Xiaoyao did not answer at all. The two were evenly matched. A Tao and the Village Chief quickly stepped forward to help, using the peach blossom branch to control Taoist Mu.

Li Xiaoyao and Zhao Ling'er exerted their strength together, and Taoist Mu became increasingly powerless. Finally, he simply used all his strength to break free from the peach blossom branch and fell heavily to the ground. Taoist Mu was physically exhausted and suddenly grabbed A Tao, demanding the Spirit Pearl in exchange. Zhao Ling'er pretended to agree and had Bao Pu come forward to get the pearl. As Bao Pu walked towards Zhao Ling'er, Lin Yueru whipped Taoist Mu.

Zhao Ling'er quickly used her magic to force Bao Pu away. Amidst the chaos, Song Hewen stepped forward to save A Tao. Taoist Mu casually swung his sword, piercing Song Hewen's heart. Song Hewen used all his strength to push Taoist Mu down the cliff. A Tao was heartbroken. Zhao Ling'er quickly stepped forward to cast a resurrection spell, but found it was futile. Song Hewen grew weaker and weaker and slowly lost his breath.

The Village Chief picked up the peach blossom branch, absorbed the spiritual energy from the sacred tree, and transferred it to Song Hewen. A moment later, Song Hewen regained consciousness. Bao Pu ran down the cliff and found that Taoist Mu still had a trace of breath, but his life was almost over. So he snatched the Wind Spirit Pearl from Taoist Mu's embrace and took the Shushan talisman strip. Taoist Mu grabbed Bao Pu's pant leg.

Bao Pu heartlessly used a stone to smash Taoist Mu to death. A Tao and Song Hewen finally got married. After attending their wedding banquet, Li Xiaoyao and his companions finally resumed their search for the Spirit Pearls. Zhao Ling'er believed that although they were delayed in Peach Blossom Village, it was a beautiful memory.

Li Xiaoyao said that when they found the Five Spirit Orbs, they would also retreat into the mountains and forests and find a Peach Blossom Spring. Lin Yueru remembered the twin-flowered peach branch and thought that fate was predetermined. Instead of interfering, she decided to bless the two and immediately declared that the two would always be her good friends. The three continued their journey happily.
