> Sweet Tai Chi Recap

The episode opens with a shadowy figure declaring his role as "sect leader" and warning someone to be careful with their words, emphasizing that deep-seated hatred for the Tai Chi lineage is not exclusive to one person. He states his own plans are in motion and that what belongs to him will eventually be reclaimed.

Meanwhile, Feng Piaopiao, having recently become Wei Chu's apprentice, attempts to use her new status to shirk household duties, questioning if her daily payment includes chores. Wei Chu, however, firmly reminds her that masters do not do their own housework and challenges her to terminate their half-employment relationship if she wishes. Piaopiao, despite her complaints, continues to cook and clean.

She proudly serves Wei Chu pig trotters soup, which she made a large pot of, as he had supposedly enjoyed it before. Wei Chu, clearly struggling with the taste, still endures it. He then instructs her to return to his house early that evening, offering to help her prepare for her upcoming final exams. When Piaopiao initially tries to refuse, Wei Chu threatens to tell her grandfather about her outstanding debt, leaving her with no choice but to comply.

After Piaopiao leaves, Wei Chu immediately orders takeout. Later that day, Mr. Kong announces to the class that Feng Piaopiao’s grandfather’s painting, "Night Homecoming," has been selected for the Sino-Japanese cultural painting and calligraphy exhibition, where it will represent CMFU. Piaopiao attends the exhibition and meets Yueshanxun, a Japanese exchange student. Yueshanxun, impressed by her work, praises her deep artistic skill for someone her age, and they bond over ancient Chinese poetry.

While Piaopiao enjoys the conversation, Wei Chu tries to call her, growing increasingly worried about her prolonged absence. Despite her enjoyable exchange with Yueshanxun, Piaopiao eventually bids him farewell and rushes back to Wei Chu’s house. Upon her late arrival, Piaopiao finds Wei Chu in the kitchen, having prepared a bowl of noodles. As he moves around, fetching items like pepper and water, Piaopiao notices his leg is perfectly fine.

The realization dawns on her that Wei Chu and his private doctor orchestrated an elaborate deception. Furious, she throws her chopsticks down, declares she will pay back all her debt, and storms out, returning to her dorm while internally calling Wei Chu a "bastard" for lying to her and forcing her to care for him. Talking to her friend Xiao Xiao, Piaopiao laments her outburst, regretting her promise to repay the substantial debt.

Shortly after Piaopiao returns to her dorm, Wei Chu calls, offering to tutor her as compensation for his deceit. Though Piaopiao initially rejects his offer, she suddenly hears sounds of a struggle from his end of the phone, immediately realizing he is under attack. Dropping her phone, she rushes back to his house. Coincidentally, Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue are passing by Wei Chu's house and, hearing the commotion, intervene.

The black-clad assailant, unable to fight off all three, quickly flees. Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue chase the attacker but lose him, though they do recover a hairpin left behind at the scene. Wei Chu, noting the attacker's experienced combat skills and the tight security around his home, deduces that the assailant was well-prepared and likely evaded all surveillance. Simultaneously, Bai Haiyang calls Wei Chu, revealing that his own home was also ransacked.

Both men suspect the attacker was searching for a specific item. When Piaopiao finally arrives at Wei Chu's house, the attack is over. To prevent her from worrying, Wei Chu dismisses the incident as merely "a mouse." Piaopiao is skeptical, but Yang Ningxue and Chen Bing, misinterpreting the situation, quickly depart, leaving Piaopiao and Wei Chu alone. Piaopiao confronts Wei Chu about his fake injury, but he counters that it is an apprentice's duty to care for her master.

She expresses her anger at being manipulated, but then notices his pale face and helps him to rest. Wei Chu insists she should go home, but Piaopiao is determined to stay and care for him. Distracted, she is startled when he asks if she sees something on his face. Piaopiao then screams, having spotted what she believes is a cockroach, clinging to Wei Chu. He identifies it as a double-fork rhinoceros beetle and dismisses her fear.

Piaopiao states her intention to return to her dorm to study for her exams, but Wei Chu convinces her to stay, offering his extensive collection of books and study materials. Wei Chu, observing Piaopiao’s inefficient study habits, provides her with two of his own books, pre-highlighted with key information. He assures her that art, like Tai Chi, has core principles, and her exams will focus on these areas.

Piaopiao, surprised and somewhat skeptical of his ability to predict exam questions for a different department, reluctantly accepts his guidance. The next day, during the exam, students complain about the difficulty, but Piaopiao is amazed to find that every question matches the highlights Wei Chu had provided. She easily passes, much to Xiao Xiao's dismay. Xiao Xiao, failing her own exam, teases Piaopiao about having spent the previous night "reviewing" at Wei Chu's house.

Following the exams, Mr. Kong formally introduces the new exchange student, Yueshanxun, to the class. He highlights Yueshanxun's background from a distinguished Japanese family of painting and calligraphy and his award-winning painting, "Lady Reading by the Window." Mr. Kong then tasks Piaopiao with showing Yueshanxun around the campus and sharing traditional Chinese culture. Yueshanxun expresses his delight at seeing Piaopiao again, revealing he specifically chose to transfer to her class as a surprise, considering her his first Chinese friend.

They arrange to meet in two days for the campus tour. Later, Wei Chu presents Piaopiao with a rigorous Tai Chi training schedule, carefully designed to fit around her academic timetable. Piaopiao is horrified by the demanding physical regimen, which includes running 30 kilometers in two hours, along with numerous push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups.

Wei Chu, determined to instill discipline, changes her phone ringtone to a stern reminder: "Hard Training, Wei Chu," threatening her with extra laps if she dares to delete it. To motivate her, he offers a significant incentive: completing all six physical training items will reduce her debt to him by half. Piaopiao, enticed by the offer, reluctantly agrees to the "deal." The following morning, Wei Chu wakes her at 5 AM, reiterating the exact time they had agreed upon. He chides her for being late, reminding her of his role as her master and his responsibility to her training, before commencing her intense workout with the mandated 30-kilometer run.
