Tian Tian awoke in Su Mu's mountain top little hut, where she had accidentally fallen asleep. Su Mu, seeing her stir and pretend to still be asleep, exposed her pretense and told her to get up. As they descended the mountain, Su Mu's bicycle was broken, so Tian Tian gave him a ride on her motorcycle. Tian Tian apologized for falling asleep last night, thinking the wind was too strong for Su Mu to hear.
However, Su Mu heard her perfectly, including her musing, "What if I slept on the bed? Would he have come into bed?" to which Su Mu curtly replied, "I wouldn't." When they reached the bottom, a security guard jokingly called them a "young couple," a remark that pleased Tian Tian. Su Mu informed her that their "agreement" to make ice cream would continue the following night at 7 PM.
Upon returning home, Tian Tian found her father asleep on the sofa, but her mother was waiting in her room, upset about her daughter's overnight absence. Tian Tian quickly explained that she had stayed with a friend to watch the stars and couldn't return due to a sudden heavy rainstorm. Her mother, appeased, warned her not to stay out all night again. Tian Tian also mentioned her "boyfriend is in the future," which her mother dismissed as nonsense.
After taking a shower, Tian Tian waited by the door, hoping to see Su Mu, but her mother's presence made her leave for work alone. Meanwhile, Mi Ya and Hui Zi discussed Su Mu's progress. His condition was slowly improving, and he often said that eating ice cream made him feel better, indicating he was finding his own way to manage his psychological issues. However, losing Liu Tai as a partner presented a significant challenge for their exterior design.
Hui Zi offered to speak with Liu Tai's father, a top technologist in the industry, about a potential collaboration. Just then, Wang Yanyi arrived, visibly injured. He explained that he had gotten into a fight with Liu Tai the previous night for insulting Su Mu and their company, Wei Lai, which led to him being detained by the police. This incident effectively dashed any hopes of working with Liu Tai again.
Su Mu later announced his decision to handle the exterior design himself. Although he possessed strong capabilities, everyone considered it a risky move. Hui Zi suggested consulting Gao Bo, an esteemed veteran in the aviation industry known as an "old prankster" due to his difficult personality and reluctance to collaborate. Wang Yanyi, however, was confident, believing that one "weirdo" like Su Mu could successfully work with another "weirdo" like Gao Bo.
Hui Zi provided them with Gao Bo's address in Pinghaishan, and Su Mu and Wang Yanyi set off in a car. Noticing the long drive, Su Mu sent Tian Tian a message indicating he would be home late. Wang Yanyi observed Su Mu's positive change in demeanor and asked if he was in love, but Su Mu remained silent. Wang Yanyi decided he would initiate the conversation with Gao Bo, as Su Mu tended to be too blunt.
Elsewhere, Tian Tian was helping Li Di set up for a proposal event. She noticed his wrist injury and carefully re-bandaged it. The proposal was scheduled for 6 PM, and Tian Tian planned to leave once the setup was complete, declining to stay for the after-party, which disappointed Li Di. As Li Di pondered where to mount the camera, Tian Tian offered to speak to the security guard.
To her surprise, the security guard was the same kind old man who had lent them paint before. Instead of needing to set up a camera, he graciously offered to provide them with a copy of the high-definition surveillance footage of the entire event. Back at the proposal venue, everything was in place. Tian Tian and the team quickly hid as Su Mu and Wang Yanyi arrived. They approached the security guard, asking for Professor Gao.
The old man was dismissive, claiming not to know Gao Bo and told them to search for themselves. The area resembled an abandoned factory, and despite their search, they found no one, with Wang Yanyi even losing track of Su Mu at one point. As the main couple arrived, the proposal commenced successfully, leading to cheers and celebrations from the hidden friends who emerged. The old security guard watched the scene unfold on his monitor with a fond smile.
Su Mu happened to walk by and, seeing the joyous event, imagined himself proposing to Tian Tian on that very spot. Unbeknownst to him, Tian Tian was also lost in her own daydream, envisioning her own proposal with Su Mu and smiling gleefully. A sudden downpour sent everyone scrambling for cover. Coincidentally, Su Mu and Wang Yanyi also sought shelter, and as Tian Tian and Su Mu turned, they found each other standing unexpectedly close.
After the rain subsided, Tian Tian decided against attending the after-party, choosing instead to go home with Su Mu. However, Su Mu’s attention was suddenly drawn to a flying object in the sky, and he abruptly turned and walked away.
