Cheng Yi poured out her heart to Director Gao, her supervisor, confessing years of suppressing her emotions. She explained that she never dared to express joy or sorrow publicly, fearing screenshots and malicious speculation, and even at home, she couldn't share her worries with her father.

Cheng Yi apologized for losing her temper, but she emphasized that even the most agreeable person has a breaking point, just like a pigeon needs to fly free occasionally, or its feathers will fall off. Afterward, Cheng Yi drove away alone, releasing her pent-up feelings by crying loudly in her car. Meanwhile, Xu Chi repeatedly tried to call Cheng Yi, but her phone remained unanswered. Later that evening, Cheng Liao was still awake, waiting for Cheng Yi to return home.

She told her sister that she and Xu Chi had tried calling her many times. Cheng Yi claimed she was out for a meeting and hadn't heard her phone, but her red eyes told a different story. Cheng Liao, now a grown-up, understood the news about Cheng Yi was everywhere but assured her sister of her belief.

Cheng Yi dismissed it, saying it was just a picture of her drinking and that her show, which had been suspended by the station, didn't have many episodes left anyway. She asked Cheng Liao not to worry or let her situation affect her. Cheng Liao then suggested they go to a karaoke gathering with people from Jiuzhou Dojo, hoping a night out with friends would lift Cheng Yi's spirits. Cheng Yi eventually agreed.

Meanwhile, Cao Xihe invited Sheng Jingchu to the same karaoke party. Sheng Jingchu initially said he was busy and couldn't make it. However, when Cao Xihe mentioned that Lan had already invited Cheng Liao, Sheng Jingchu quickly changed his mind and decided to join them. Cheng Yi and Cheng Liao attended the party together. While Lan kept Cheng Yi entertained, Sheng Jingchu suggested to Cheng Liao that they go somewhere else.

He took her to a night market where they enjoyed skewers, then went to their old school to admire the view. With only five minutes left before midnight, Sheng Jingchu presented Cheng Liao with a necklace, a surprise birthday gift. Cheng Liao was touched, stating he was the only one who remembered her birthday and that it was her favorite gift.

Sheng Jingchu remarked that memories could be refreshed and that her "wall-climbing" memories in this spot wouldn't be sad anymore. As Sheng Jingchu moved to embrace her, they accidentally kissed. Cheng Liao, flustered, quickly apologized, but Sheng Jingchu replied that it would only make the memory more profound. As they left, Sheng Jingchu pointed out a sesame seed on her face, making Cheng Liao realize the accidental kiss had been a bit of a "spoiler."

Cheng Liao later reflected on being kissed twice by Sheng Jingchu, the "Legend," feeling it was a lucky but perhaps undeserved use of her 24-year-old first kiss. Upon returning home, Cheng Liao was surprised when her father and sister entered with a birthday cake and sang to her, having seemingly remembered her birthday after all. Cheng Yi gave her a pair of high heels, urging her to embrace her womanhood and prepare for relationships and marriage.

Their father, Cheng Feng Shou, grew emotional at the thought of his daughters leaving him alone. The sisters quickly reassured him they wouldn't marry and would stay home with him, but he insisted they find excellent husbands. Cheng Yi, still tipsy, nearly let slip details of Cheng Liao's evening plans before their father took her to the bathroom. Cao Xihe went to pick up Lan from school.

When Lan excitedly mentioned that Zhao Yeon Hoon was on the roster for the Four Countries Invitational Go Tournament, Cao Xihe was annoyed. Lan continued to express her admiration for Zhao Yeon Hoon, praising his looks over the game. Cao Xihe, frustrated, reiterated his vow to defeat Zhao Yeon Hoon. Later, during a discussion about the upcoming tournament, Yao Ke shared a brilliant Go move with Lan.

When Lan asked about Yao Ke's record against Zhao Yeon Hoon, Cao Xihe, still bothered, told her not to prioritize Zhao Yeon Hoon. Sheng Jingchu advised the team to prepare well and understand their opponents, as their master wouldn't be participating. He also suggested that Cao Xihe should avoid facing Zhao Yeon Hoon, believing he was too affected by him. Cao Xihe retorted that he had a better chance than Lan, who would only focus on looks.

Lan defended her interest in handsome men and continued to talk about Zhao Yeon Hoon's dedication to Go, his master's gift (a tiger-head mahogany amulet), and his past struggles with a weak physique. Xu Chi visited Jiang Yuda, warning him to stop bothering Cheng Yi. Jiang Yuda asserted his right to pursue anyone he liked, stating that he and Xu Chi were now rivals in love.

He accused Xu Chi of ruining Cheng Yi's career with the leaked photo, leading to her show's cancellation and interviews being suspended. Jiang Yuda insisted he wasn't ashamed and was angry at the online bullying, vowing to stand by Cheng Yi and fight the haters. Xu Chi then questioned if Jiang Yuda would continue to cause trouble. Jiang Yuda declared his independence and stated that their friendship was over, dismissing any past favors.

Cheng Yi went for an interview, only to be ridiculed by the interviewee about the photo of her and Jiang Yuda, which suggested "shamelessness" for a famous host. Jiang Yuda appeared, attempting to defend Cheng Yi, but ended up getting beaten himself. Seeing he was ineffective, Cheng Yi stepped in and quickly defeated the man, leaving Jiang Yuda astonished by her fighting skills.

Afterward, Cheng Yi told Jiang Yuda to stop meddling in her affairs, as she wanted no more trouble. Jiang Yuda suggested her current distress was about Xu Chi, but Cheng Yi clarified that Xu Chi was like family to her, while she only felt pity for Jiang Yuda, advising him to focus on improving his Go skills. Jiang Yuda, however, expressed hope that her pity might turn into love.

Feeling overwhelmed by the complexities of Go and her own "stupid brain," Cheng Liao decided to seek help. She called Sheng Jingchu, humbly requesting to be his student to learn Go for her program. Sheng Jingchu, who was at home, agreed to teach her. When Cheng Liao arrived, she found Sheng Jingchu well-prepared with notes and screenshots.

He began by explaining that Go originated in China, created by Emperor Yao, and evolved from a military strategy game to a recreational activity and then a competitive sport. He described the history and development of Go in China, Korea, Japan, and Singapore, which were the four participating countries in the upcoming tournament. Sheng Jingchu also highlighted a crucial "wedge" move that turned the tide in a famous man-machine battle. Cheng Liao diligently took notes, and after getting a preliminary understanding, they took a short break.
