> Princess Silver Recap

On the day Princess Zhao Yun embarked on her journey for the marriage alliance, Prince Ning Qianyi vowed to protect her forever. Though Prince Li, Wu You, felt a measure of relief seeing Zhao Yun under Ning Qianyi's care, he could only hope she would live a good life. Inside her carriage, Zhao Yun clutched the grass ring given to her by Wu Yu, tears welling in her eyes.

Meanwhile, in prison, Wu Yu felt as though decades had passed in just two days. He silently wrote Zhao Yun's name with tea, wishing her happiness even though they could not be together. Ling Yue returned a small pot of medicine to Xiao Sha, stating her leg felt much better. She urged him not to betray Princess Rong Le again, noting that with Princess Zhao Yun gone, they were Rong Le's only remaining friends.

Xiao Sha promised to keep them safe before hastily leaving. Suspicious, Ling Yue followed him to the House of Fragrance, where she was blocked by the madam. The madam revealed that Xiao Sha was a frequent patron and had recently gotten into a fight over a girl with the Crown Prince's wife’s brother. Upon hearing Ling Yue's report, Rong Le refused to believe Xiao Sha had simply been charmed by a woman, insisting there must be a hidden reason.

To uncover the truth, Rong Le sent Chen Yu and Ling Yue, disguised as men, to the House of Fragrance. Chen Yu, encountering an old acquaintance, learned more about Xiao Sha's recent altercation. They soon located Xiao Sha, who was in a tense conversation with one of the Emperor's agents. The agent gave Xiao Sha medicine for Princess Rong Le, questioning why he had failed to assassinate Prince Ning Qianyi.

Xiao Sha explained that Princess Rong Le’s unexpected involvement had complicated the mission. The agent warned Xiao Sha that the Emperor held leverage over him and could only guarantee a certain Miss Ke's safety if Xiao Sha remained obedient. Xiao Sha demanded to see Miss Ke, but the agent refused, citing the Emperor’s orders. When Xiao Sha threatened to cause a scene, the two men began to fight.

Hearing the exchange, Chen Yu quickly pulled Ling Yue away, determined to help Xiao Sha rescue Ke'er. They found a hidden courtyard guarded by two men. Chen Yu led Ling Yue to a discreet hole in an upper room, where Ke'er reached out and grabbed their hands. They made a noise, alerting the guards, and the three quickly hid.

Ke'er then instructed her rescuers to cover their noses and mouths before using a special powder to knock out the two guards. Later, as Rong Le examined a jade pendant she had received from Ning Qianyi, Ling Yue arrived with Ke'er. Rong Le extended kindness to Ke'er, whose innocent nature immediately warmed to her.

Ke'er confided her story, revealing that she had suffered from a terminal illness as a child, and at age four, a master took her in to treat her unique condition. A year prior, someone had reunited her with her brother, whom she recognized instantly by a scar on his right wrist—a mark she had accidentally caused with scalding soup. Rong Le realized Ke'er was Xiao Sha’s younger sister.

Meanwhile, a distraught and wounded Xiao Sha wandered the streets until Ling Yue found him, his first words being a frantic inquiry about Ke'er. Ling Yue brought him back to the manor, where he rushed to embrace Ke'er in an emotional reunion, apologizing profusely for losing her. Xiao Sha then knelt before Rong Le, accepting any punishment for his deception but pleading for Ke'er's safety.

Rong Le assured him she understood his predicament, revealing she knew her own brother, Emperor Rong Qi, had imprisoned Ke'er as a hostage to force Xiao Sha to assassinate Prince Ning Qianyi. Rong Le expressed her bitter disappointment in Rong Qi, realizing that for his ambition, loyal officials and even his own sister were expendable. Xiao Sha then confirmed that Ke'er was a skilled healer, having been trained by the renowned Lone Frost Sage.

Wu You found Wu Yu deeply despondent over Zhao Yun's marriage. Wu Yu lamented his past follies, regretting that he only realized how much he cherished Zhao Yun after losing her. Wu You commiserated, saying he too had recently learned that true maturity comes from learning to let go. Just then, Leng Yan delivered a wooden token from Prince Ning Qianyi, who, in gratitude for being rescued, promised to fulfill one request for Wu You whenever needed.

Wu You was relieved to hear that the marriage party had safely reached the border, with Fu Chou making no suspicious moves. Feeling invigorated, Wu Yu expressed his desire to help Wu You. Wu You informed him of a rumor that Xiao Sha, the bodyguard at the General’s manor, had brawled over a girl with the Crown Prince's wife’s brother, a scandal that had reached the Empress.

Wu You suggested Wu Yu visit the General's manor under the pretext of thanking Rong Le for her care of Zhao Yun, using the opportunity to investigate Xiao Sha. Wu Yu readily agreed. Ke'er, examining Rong Le’s pulse, made a startling discovery: Rong Le was poisoned. Ke'er described the poison as formidable and explained that the medicine Rong Le was taking, while prolonging her life, conflicted with the poison, causing headaches and memory loss.

With the poison deeply ingrained, Ke'er could only promise to try and sustain Rong Le’s life. Ling Yue tried to dismiss the finding, but Rong Le gratefully accepted Ke'er's honesty and invited her to stay. Confronted with her mortality, Rong Le reflected on her life, desiring to discover her true identity and escape the metaphorical cage that bound her. After successfully escorting the royal party to Chen, Fu Chou returned, pleasing the Emperor.

With the alliance solidified and new horses acquired, the Emperor declared it time to prepare for the campaign against Wei and assigned Prince Fan Yang, Wu You, to command it. Seeing Wu You gain favor, the Crown Prince quickly offered his own service. The Emperor gave him the seemingly important but tedious task of supervising the breeding of the new horses, which the Crown Prince reluctantly accepted.

The Crown Prince returned to his residence, furious from his frustrating day at the stables. He blamed Fu Chou for Wu You’s recent successes. Fu Chou calmly reminded the Crown Prince of their alliance but asserted that his own position was secured by military achievements, while the Crown Prince relied on his support. He advised the Crown Prince to change the Emperor's perception of him by abandoning his pursuit of women, an exchange Hen Xiang overheard.

After Fu Chou departed, the Crown Prince told Hen Xiang to keep her distance so he could focus, but when she playfully took her leave, he immediately called her back to help him change. This day marked Fu Chou's annual ritual of vengeance, with Hen Xiang by his side. They activated a hidden mechanism, revealing a secret chamber where masked figures awaited. In a brutal ceremony, they pierced Fu Chou's collarbones with iron hooks and hoisted him up.

One figure declared the ritual a constant reminder of the blood debts he must never forget, while another taunted him for his slow progress, calling him a disappointment to his mother. Fu Chou fiercely retorted that his mission was his own, separate from their "Creed." Their Master sternly reminded him to be decisive. Throughout the painful ordeal, Hen Xiang tearfully watched Fu Chou's torment.

Later, while exploring the General's manor, Ke'er encountered Wu Yu, who had come to see Rong Le. Wu Yu immediately began to lecture her. Annoyed by his incessant chatter, Ke'er retaliated by spraying him with her newly invented poison powder, teaching him a lesson for his disrespect.
