Zhendong declined, stating he was not interested in racing, found it to be an uncontrollable sport with low returns, and had not come to learn.
He explained his purpose was to inform them that the Nineteen Devil's Bends area would be developed as a resort as originally planned and would not be used as a racetrack. He also asked about a 2 million yuan transfer from his private account. Ye Gong produced the investment contract, showing Zhang Chi had signed as the investor, much to Zhendong's surprise and the team's confusion.
