Zhendong looked at Zhang Chi and told him that he was great in many ways, but needed to work on his temper, warning that otherwise he would regret it and lose a lot. Zhang Chi dismissed him, calling him a kid. Zhendong replied he wasn't worried but talking about fate. He suggested Zhang Chi take Lin Zhendong under his wing as he could bring a lot of profit to the team. Zhang Chi acted cool, saying he would consider it.

Others rushed over, hearing he was telling fortunes. Weiyi eagerly asked when she would find her sweet romance, adding that her previous relationship with a Cancer sign guy named Chen had ended abruptly. Zhendong advised her to stay away from a Cancer guy with the last name Chen, predicting that after that, all her romances would be sweet. Weiyi was amazed, saying she had just met such a person that day and would block him immediately.

Sun Yuqiang asked if he would meet good girls in the future. Zhendong told him he had crazy luck and would find a stunning beauty willing to stick with him through thick and thin. Ye Gong asked about his wealth, but Zhendong warned him to stay away from dogs, telling him not to keep them, walk them, or help others walk them, and also to stay away from big vehicles like trucks.

He implied that as long as Ye Gong followed this advice, wealth would be found everywhere. Xiaohe asked about her true love. Zhendong became emotional and didn't answer directly but hugged her, which made Zhang Chi visibly jealous. Looking at the Speeding Club, Zhendong saw it as deserted in the future, with the team gone and Zhang Chi injured. He wished time could stop at the current moment.

He decided to make sure that in five years, Zhang Chi would not have an accident, specifically by planting saplings at the Nineteen Devil's Bends, the location of Zhang Chi's future crash, hoping they would grow tall and thick. Later, driving home, Zhendong found a parking spot but accidentally ran over a tow rope belonging to a man towing a car. He apologized profusely and offered to move his car.

As he did, he experienced intense chest pain and his heart rate soared. Simultaneously, in a hospital in 2027, Zhang Chi was undergoing resuscitation. After about ten minutes, his heart rate stabilized, and he reported having experienced about a week of Lin Zhendong's life before returning to his own body. Zhendong briefly awoke in his car, disoriented.

He remembered being with Hong Kuo, passing a racetrack, seeing a car stopped, and having a crash and an argument, but nothing after that. He realized he had changed clothes and days had passed. At home, Zhendong's mother, Jiazhen, and uncle, Jiaru, discussed Zhendong's recent strange behavior, including not recognizing Jiaru. Zhendong returned, appearing normal. He told his mother that he was fine and would recover the money he had spent and invested recently.

He confirmed that the Kanshan Resort project, including the Nineteen Devil's Bends area, would proceed according to the original plan. He then went to his room, which was a mess, and began tidying it. The Speeding Team was excited about having an investor and planned an intensive training camp at Kanshan Resort, announcing that they would no longer need to do maintenance work to support the team. Zhang Chi was involved in an accident with an expensive imported motorcycle.

The owner demanded 200,000 yuan for repairs. A dispute ensued. Zhendong arrived and, by examining the scene, accurately deduced that Zhang Chi had swerved suddenly to avoid something and hadn't just been distracted. They checked surveillance footage, which revealed Zhang Chi had swerved to avoid a dog. The motorcycle owner recognized his dog, Davidson, and was overwhelmed with gratitude that Zhang Chi had saved his pet, offering to cover Zhang Chi's medical expenses and considering the matter settled.

Zhendong questioned why the simple explanation wasn't given earlier to avoid the trouble. The team thanked Zhendong. Zhang Chi offered to take him as an apprentice, believing Zhendong's help indicated a passion for racing. Zhendong declined, stating he was not interested in racing, found it to be an uncontrollable sport with low returns, and had not come to learn.

He explained his purpose was to inform them that the Nineteen Devil's Bends area would be developed as a resort as originally planned and would not be used as a racetrack. He also asked about a 2 million yuan transfer from his private account. Ye Gong produced the investment contract, showing Zhang Chi had signed as the investor, much to Zhendong's surprise and the team's confusion.

Zhendong apologized for the misunderstanding and offered 100,000 yuan as compensation for breaching the non-existent agreement. Zhang Chi insisted on taking Zhendong for a ride on the mountain road. Zhendong was clearly frightened but tried to hide it. Riding through the turns, Zhendong had flashbacks of winning a karting race as a child and sharing his triumph with his father. After they stopped, Zhendong was nauseous and vomited.

Zhang Chi praised his endurance, but Zhendong, recovering, pointed out four instances where Zhang Chi had deviated from the perfect racing line during the turns, reinforcing his belief that racing is inherently uncontrollable. Returning to the garage, Zhang Chi instructed Ye Gong to return the 2 million yuan and the parts. The team worried about covering expenses like rent, but Ye Gong mentioned they had taken on some advertising jobs and could manage.

Ye Gong also paid the towing fee for the earlier incident involving Zhendong. Zhendong returned home and informed his mother that the Kanshan Resort project was on schedule to start the next day. He then went to his room and looked at his childhood karting trophies and photos, recalling happy memories of racing and sharing them with his father. In the hospital in 2027, Zhang Chi remained in intensive care.

His teammates were anxious, linking his critical condition to the Master Racing Rally Invitational. In his unconscious state, Zhang Chi heard the phrase "Master Racing Rally Invitational," and his heart rate quickened as he resolved to travel back in time to participate. Zhendong abruptly woke up and rushed to the Speeding Team. Jiaru again expressed concern to Jiazhen about Zhendong's strange behavior.

Zhendong arrived at the Speeding Team garage and urgently told Zhang Chi not to sign up for the Master Racing Rally Invitational. Ye Gong was confused by Zhendong's fluctuating stances and told him to go home. Just then, Li Aoduo from the Master Racing Team arrived with an official invitation for Zhang Chi to the Invitational, suggesting they bring a rookie driver. Zhendong immediately refused, asserting his right as the team's investor, despite the previous contract revelation.

Xiaohe reminded him the 2 million yuan had been returned. Zhendong checked his phone, realizing he had no memory of yesterday's events. He also saw advertising banners promoting the Nineteen Devil's Bends as a resort. Li Aoduo taunted Zhang Chi. Zhendong became increasingly frantic, questioning the date and where his Tuesday had gone, confirming that time had become distorted for him. He saw the resort press conference was scheduled for three days from that point.
