Chen Pinzhen found this hard to believe, as she doubted Yu Zhi would unconditionally cooperate with false promotion, though Gao Hui seemed confident in her plans. Gao Jie received a phone call from Chen Pinzhen about the impending interview.
Gao Jie firmly believed Yu Zhi would not engage in such a thing, yet she couldn't help but recall Mu Ziyun's words that the Yu brothers were constantly revolving around Wu Xiaoci and her daughter for success, making a fake relationship seem plausible. Chen Pinzhen urged Gao Jie to keep a close eye on Yu Zhi and informed her that tomorrow was the shooting day, asking her to come to the set to supervise.
Later, Yu Zhi returned home to find Gao Jie looking for apartments. Gao Jie explained she was helping Pan Yue find a new place so she could bring her mother to live with her and take care of her. Yu Zhi initially thought Gao Jie was moving out but took her words to heart. He awkwardly presented Gao Jie with a feather duster as a playful apology and confessed that he and Gao Hui would be interviewed.
Gao Jie frankly told Yu Zhi that she didn't like Gao Hui, and even more, disliked the idea of her boyfriend being constantly entangled with her. Yu Zhi assumed she was merely jealous, but Gao Jie's intense reaction completely bewildered him. The following morning, Gao Jie discovered breakfast on the table along with a note from Yu Zhi, which significantly calmed her anger.
Noticing Gao Jie's distracted state, the masters asked her to return a bracelet to headquarters and then find Yu Zhi, suggesting she take a break. Upon arriving at headquarters, Gao Jie saw Yu Zhi and Gao Hui already engaged in an interview. Standing together, they appeared to be a perfect match, which angered Gao Jie. Yu Zhi noticed Gao Jie leaving and quickly excused himself to follow her.
He expressed his desire to make their relationship public, but Gao Jie declined. Gao Jie delivered the bracelet to Grandma, who admired its beauty. Grandma then informed Gao Jie that the Custom Order Group was about to be disbanded and asked if she would be willing to join the Plain Gold Group. Gao Jie felt a pang of regret for her masters.
Grandma stated that she would announce the news after the upcoming grand ceremony and advised Gao Jie to think carefully during this period. Mu Ziyun arranged a meeting with Ye Siqiang, but Yu Yi arrived instead. The two engaged in a subtle battle of wits.

Returning to the alleyway, Gao Jie still couldn't find Pan Yue and broke down crying. The nurse informed Gao Jie that Wu Xiaoci had visited and cursed Pan Yue as a mistress, and also revealed that Gao Hai had secretly been taking Pan Yue for treatments.
Mu Ziyun expressed that Pan Yue and Gao Jie were her only remaining relatives and promised to take good care of them. Suddenly, Pan Yue became serious, holding a feather and remarking that it was a goose feather that could substitute for kingfisher feathers, appearing momentarily lucid. This made Gao Jie wonder if Gao Hai's secret treatments for Pan Yue were actually having an effect.
Yu Zhi, unaware of the day's events, mistakenly believed Gao Jie was angry and had gone home. During a dinner, Yu Yi proudly informed Grandma about the Hui Xin marketing campaign's success. However, Grandma's anger flared when Mu Ziyun’s phone received news reports exposing the campaign as a scam involving Mr. Jiang, the client featured in their promotional mini-movie. Enraged by the deception, Grandma declared she would reconsider the Inlay Group's participation in the upcoming annual festival.
Gao Hui, furious at Mr. Jiang, argued with Yu Zhi, who urged her to confront her mistakes rather than deflect blame. Yu Yi then suggested contacting public relations, and Gao Hui reluctantly went to Cilian's PR for crisis management. Gao Jie, deeply disappointed, dragged him outside and told him not to bother her and Pan Yue anymore. Yu Zhi then found and embraced a distraught Gao Jie, both sharing their troubles. Gao Jie decided to take a day off to relax with Yu Zhi. During this time, Gao Jie also spoke to Chen Pinzhen on the phone, telling her not to mention the scam to Yu Zhi, as she had already reminded him, but he was likely in a difficult position and had no choice but to continue.
Gao Hui’s work, "Heart of the King," was listed as an exhibit by the Victoria & Albert Museum. The museum, after hearing Gao Hui's design concept, mistakenly believed she and Yu Zhi were a couple and wished to use this romance for publicity. Yu Yi tried to intervene and suggest another representative for Yu Zhi, but Gao Hui, determined to bind Yu Zhi to her, paid him no mind. Yu Yi left dejectedly.
Yu Zhi, realizing it was Yu Yi who had contacted the museum, understood that this unexpected good news at a critical juncture could help mitigate the previous negative publicity. Having no other choice, Yu Zhi agreed to cooperate with Gao Hui for the interview. The next day, Gao Hui scheduled an interview to take place in the Custom Order Group's workshop.

After the shoot, the three masters tried to console a dejected Gao Jie. Later, as Yu Zhi and Gao Hui were inside, presenting to the media, Gao Jie unexpectedly interjected, leading to a public squabble between the two in front of the cameras, full of palpable tension.
Gao Hui resolved to strategically tie Yu Zhi to her career, ensuring he could not leave her, an approach eerily similar to Wu Xiaoci's past actions. Gao Jie sat dispiritedly in front of the Custom Order Group's entrance, contemplating Grandma's decision to disband the group. The three masters quickly came to comfort her. However, the three masters sighed, indicating that the task was far from simple.
