> My Poseidon Recap

Ye Hai, convinced Andrew coveted his "boat in the jar" necklace, told Dong Zilong that he should have died in a marine accident thirteen years ago but was saved by a mysterious, magical force. Dong Zilong, however, found the idea preposterous and suggested Ye Hai needed psychiatric help. Despite his disbelief, Dong Zilong advised Ye Hai to investigate Andrew closely and call him if anything happened.

Later, An Fei called Ye Hai, playfully addressing him as "Qiu A Ming" to make him confirm his identity. She then pressed him on why he suddenly agreed to lend the island, given his previous reluctance. Ye Hai initially dodged, claiming it was because "the time is ripe" and he wanted to "earn money to provide you a living" as a businessman, despite her knowing the island was important to him.

When An Fei threatened to hang up, Ye Hai revealed his true motive: in exchange for lending the island, he wanted her to take him diving next time. He also said he would cancel his tasks and wanted her to do the same, clearly hinting at wanting to spend more time with her. Later that night, Ye Hai went to a bar, drinking.

Poseidon's reflection suddenly appeared in his drink, startling Ye Hai, though he was familiar with his elusive companion and toasted him like an old friend. Poseidon asked why he was wasting his youth in such a "place of lower classes." Ye Hai admitted he was simply feeling sad. Meanwhile, Mo Liang drove An Fei home, insisting on her safety despite his busy schedule.

He reminisced about their first meeting, when she saved him from a swimming pool, and confessed he didn't know how he would cope with life without her. He also fondly recalled teaching her lessons, including writing physics formulas as poems and tapping her forehead to help her with English vocabulary, wishing he could turn back time to those "good old days" and hold onto her.

At her door, he again expressed this desire, wishing he could turn back time to keep her by his side and save their good old memories. Ye Hai witnessed this moment but, trusting An Fei, did not misunderstand. After Mo Liang left, Ye Hai rushed to An Fei, anxiously asked if she was misunderstanding anything, implicitly seeking reassurance about her feelings.

The next day at the lab, Mo Liang offered An Fei peeled boiled eggs and again lamented his past blindness, wishing he could go back in time to see "everything" clearly and recognize "what I actually wanted," admitting he hadn't realized he liked someone before. An Fei interrupted, frankly stating her strong affection for Ye Hai, praising his qualities like being handsome, tall, knowing how to dive, and playing the flute.

She told Mo Liang that Ye Hai made her happy and would never leave her, emphasizing that "to have affection for someone is not an easy feeling," making it clear that she was moving on from her seven-year long unrequited affection. She then reflected on ending her seven-year long unrequited affection for him, realizing she had wasted a third of her life liking him.

She anticipated telling Ye Hai, envisioning him playfully threatening to kiss her if she kept talking about it, underscoring her readiness for a new chapter. Ye Hai received an urgent call from Dragon Prince, who had a significant discovery. Dragon Prince reported that a local informant from a previous fishing product incident had been targeted for revenge and had gone missing. Ye Hai deduced the victim was likely Dr. C and wondered why C would be targeted.

Elsewhere, Jiang Zhi, holding the "boat in the jar" necklace, confronted Dr. C, demanding to know how to use it. A flashback showed a past conversation where "Mr. Ye" (presumably Ye Hai's grandfather) spoke of his grandson's dangerous condition, suggesting they could "save him" and "activate him" using something, possibly the necklace. Dr. C refused to reveal its secrets, prompting Jiang Zhi to give him time to reconsider his answer.

At home, An Fei was distracted while cutting fruit and found herself daydreaming about kissing Ye Hai, making her blush. Her thoughts then drifted to Ye Hai, whom she called a "pervert," as she saw photos of him partying at a bar, making her angry and determined to "deal with him" when he returned. Suddenly, Mo Liang called An Fei urgently on her phone, instructing her to wait at home as he was coming to fetch her.

He then swiftly drove her to the shipping port. There, An Fei learned that her father's ship had lost contact eight hours ago during a severe storm, preventing helicopter rescue. A staff member confirmed Captain An had contacted them, but rescue efforts were hampered by the weather. Distraught, An Fei tried to call her mother, recalling a past moment where her mother, in panic, had shut her down but then reassured her that her father would be fine.

An Fei resolved to stay at the port and await news. Meanwhile, Ye Hai returned home to find a meal prepared by An Fei, but she was nowhere to be found. His landlord informed him that An Fei had rushed out. Soon after, the landlord saw news reports about a Chinese merchant ship lost in a storm in the Southern Sea Area, mentioning An Fei's father was the captain.

Ye Hai immediately tried to call An Fei, but her phone was out of coverage. At the shipping port, Mo Liang joined a team of experts, meticulously analyzing the storm's dynamics and sea conditions. He explained that although wind speeds in the storm's eye were high (51 m/s), the combined effect of sea levels and strong winds could cause them to slow and change direction, potentially leading to a whirlpool in the seabed basin.

Using the ship's last known coordinates, Mo Liang precisely calculated that the vessel was likely not in the direct eye of the storm but near the basin, to the northeast, and moving north. He confidently stated that if they were in this location, they could be saved and urged the immediate dispatch of rescue teams.

An Fei, initially wanting to go home to retrieve a sentimental item from her father, decided to stay at the port after hearing Mo Liang's hopeful assessment. Mo Liang comforted her, reminding her that his father was also on the ship and assuring her they would be fine. Rescue teams, including helicopters, were promptly sent to the coordinates Mo Liang provided. Other experts praised his rapid and accurate calculations.

Later, An Fei and Mo Liang sat together, looking at the stars. An Fei recalled her father's past words about stars guiding sailors home, a belief she now held. Mo Liang, too, spoke of humanity's reliance on natural power and the stars' guiding force, praying for all those who had once shared connections. He then light-heartedly teased An Fei about how the past, mathematically focused version of her wouldn't have expressed such poetic thoughts.

Seeing her exhaustion, he offered to take her home. Returning home late, An Fei explained to a worried Ye Hai that her phone had no signal. She then revealed that her father's ship was lost. Shortly after, she received a call from her mother on her phone and, overwhelmed with emotion, lashed out, accusing her mother of being irresponsible and uncaring about her father's life while enjoying herself with "Uncle Liu," finally stating she wouldn't take care of her mother.
