> My Poseidon Recap

Ye Hai noticed Jiang Zhi’s detailed knowledge of sea hydrogen and questioned how he knew so much. Jiang Zhi simply smiled, stating he knew even more about Ye Hai and suggested they talk later. Everyone present realized that Jiang Zhi had returned specifically for sea hydrogen. As An Fei began to ask a question, Ye Hai pulled her away, understanding that Jiang Zhi was not to be underestimated and An Fei should not speak impulsively.

After Ye Hai and An Fei left, the others continued their conversation with Jiang Zhi. Lin Huayin expressed her hope that Jiang Zhi would join the Poseidon experiment, which surprised and angered Mo Liang. He was focused solely on the experiment, not on developing the island into a profitable oil field. Mo Liang became so agitated that he started to bleed from his nose, indicating discomfort. Liu Lan quickly offered to take him to the hospital.

On the way, Mo Liang voiced his suspicions about Jiang Zhi’s motives, but Liu Lan defended Jiang Zhi, suggesting his surveying experience could benefit the project. Mo Liang became suspicious of Liu Lan, but still went with her to the hospital. At the hospital, while Liu Lan and Mo Liang bickered over who would collect his test results, Mo Liang saw a couple who looked intimately close. The man strongly resembled An Fei’s father.

Mo Liang called An Fei to confirm, but she told him her father would not return for another week, making Mo Liang believe he had been mistaken. Meanwhile, Duan Xiche informed Ye Hai that he had tried to contact Dr. C without success, and neither had Xu Pu, leaving Ye Hai anxious. An Fei had returned to the project team, diligently working on experiments during the day.

In the evenings, she returned home to Ye Hai, and they embraced and chatted, like a loving couple. That night, Ye Hai took An Fei outside to stargaze. As they cuddled, Ye Hai confided that he had finally won An Fei over, and he cherished the feeling of mutual reliance. An Fei sweetly smiled and kissed Ye Hai's cheek, making him feel as though the world had slowed down. Ye Hai returned her kiss, and they spent the night outdoors.

The next morning, they groggily woke up and remembered they had a negotiation with the private island owner scheduled for that day. To An Fei’s shock, the negotiation was between Jiang Zhi and Ye Hai. It turned out that Ye Hai himself was the private island owner. He had initially refused to lend the island to Mo Liang, and now Jiang Zhi was there to negotiate with him.

Jiang Zhi was revealed to be Professor B, who had a connection with Ye Hai’s late grandfather. Years ago, they had planned to jointly exploit the island, but Ye Hai’s grandfather later opposed the environmental damage that would result from energy extraction, and the project was shelved. Jiang Zhi pressed Ye Hai to resume mining, arguing that the only reason his grandfather stopped was due to a lack of technology, which they now possessed.

Ye Hai, however, maintained his grandfather's stance, citing his unwillingness to harm the island's innocent marine life, which Jiang Zhi found an insufficient reason. Ye Hai then questioned Jiang Zhi about the involvement of pirates in his parents' shipwreck and its connection to the energy experiment. During their discussion, Jiang Zhi suddenly had a seizure. Ye Hai quickly left the room, calling for help. Liu Lan rushed in to administer medication, which calmed Jiang Zhi.

This incident fueled An Fei's misunderstanding of Ye Hai. Upset and feeling betrayed, she walked away from him and took Mo Liang’s hand, leaving together. Mo Liang, unaware of An Fei and Ye Hai’s relationship, continued to show affection toward her. An Fei confided in Mo Liang, expressing her frustration that something bad always happened whenever she and Ye Hai grew closer, making her feel like they were sworn enemies.

She was dismayed that Ye Hai was now the biggest obstacle to continuing the experiment. Mo Liang reassured her, mentioning that if other exploration sites were successful, they wouldn't need Ye Hai's island. He also revealed that Liu Lan and Lin Huayin had previously tried and failed to contact the island owner, suggesting Liu Lan knew Ye Hai owned the island and sent Mo Liang to persuade him. Ye Hai, feeling dejected, was approached by Dong Zilong.

Ye Hai clearly stated that he had refused to lend the island. Dong Zilong informed him that Jiang Zhi's initial survey data was identical to Liu Lan's data from three years ago, leading Ye Hai to conclude that Liu Lan was in contact with Jiang Zhi. Preparing to go to the island himself, Ye Hai instructed Duan Xiche to make the necessary arrangements and warned him to be wary of Liu Lan. Ye Hai also noted that because Jiang Zhi was found by Lin Huayin's father, they couldn't trust any information coming from Lin Huayin.
