Wang Chen, understanding the public sentiment, bravely offered to step down as the designer, confident that her departure would restore Fluffeee's reputation and prompt Mr. Yu to continue his investment. Mr. Yu agreed, provided the brand's image was salvaged, and acceded to Wang Chen's request to keep their meeting a secret from Miao Yu. Her actions were a selfless sacrifice for Miao Yu and Fluffeee, knowing it would lead to Miao Yu's misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, Qin Sirui, still holding Li Zhizhi's earrings, tried to message her about them, only to discover she had unfriended him. Using a clue from his mother's car records, he tracked Li Zhizhi to her residential area. Li Zhizhi openly admitted Qin's mother had visited and accepted his apology. She playfully reminded him of her preference for luxury cars, but then, surprisingly, chose to ride on his bicycle to her re-examination for her working graduate program.
While Li Zhizhi took her exam, Qin Sirui waited patiently. During this time, Li Zhizhi spoke about wanting to better herself, but Qin Sirui advised against her self-deprecating humor. She also admitted to purposefully not contacting him about her earrings, jokingly fearing she might fall for him. He explained that he felt compelled to manage her emotions since childhood, which led him to accept her control. Li Zhizhi told him that healing ultimately comes from within.
Their conversation was secretly overheard by Qin Sirui's mother, who, deeply touched by his heartfelt words and longing for her past self, hastily wiped away her tears and left. The next morning at Fluffeee, the team, including Ken, Luo Li, and Zhou Xixi, were discussing their recent setback of being excluded from Fashion Week. At the coach station, while Miao Yu desperately searched for Wang Chen, a large screen played an interview with Bi Guan, who spoke about the comet's subtle yet profound impact, bringing "unforgettable moments" and happiness to people. Miao Yu, reflecting on how his "Coffee" self always found him, wondered how his "Lady Meow" persona could find Wang Chen now. He finally spotted her. He confronted her, refusing to let go as she struggled, insisting their breakup was real.
