Chi Yan announced that the prize for the winner was a book coupon. However, Xiao Xiu, who won, declared that she didn't want a book but desired a different wish. She asked Chi Yan for one day entirely to herself and requested that he wear clothes similar to hers the following day. Chi Yan agreed.
Xiao Xiu smiled, noting that it had been a long time since Chi Yan had smiled at her like that, recalling an old agreement where he promised to smile at her every day. Meanwhile, Qin Mingming drove Xu Zihao home, with an awkward tension between them that made Qin Liangliang, in the back seat, visibly uncomfortable. After Xu Zihao arrived home, Qin Liangliang began to pry into Qin Mingming's relationship with him.
Qin Mingming quickly dismissed his notions, reminding him that Xu Zihao had a girlfriend. Xu Zihao, left alone with his cat Nietzsche, found himself in a dilemma. He mused on Lulu’s sometimes hasty temper but felt he couldn't break up with her, especially since she hadn't abandoned him for his fear of marriage. Yet, he couldn't deny his strong attraction to Qin Mingming, admitting she felt entirely different.
He then chastised himself, calling his feelings for both women the actions of a "cheating jerk." The next morning, Xiao Xiu eagerly waited outside Chi Yan’s door because she wanted to see him early. As they took a stroll, Chi Yan remembered his grandpa bringing him to that very spot when he was a child and expressed how much he missed him.
Xiao Xiu consoled him, sharing that she often thought of her own sister, who had also passed away, and suggested that his grandpa, like her sister, would want him to live happily. They decided to go boating. As they playfully rowed, Xiao Xiu's vision began to blur, but she stubbornly pushed through, convinced that they were successfully replacing Chi Yan's negative memories with new, happy ones. Suddenly, Chi Yan noticed Uncle Fu waving frantically from the shore.
He turned to Xiao Xiu, only to find she had already fainted. Chi Yan quickly carried her ashore, where Uncle Fu urgently explained their dire situation. He didn't know how much Chi Yan remembered, but he had to reveal that Xiao Xiu had fulfilled her contract and could no longer sustain her human form without protection. If she didn't return to the Meow Planet, she would die.
Xiao Xiu woke up in distress, unwilling to leave Chi Yan, especially after he was so close to remembering everything. Chi Yan gently asked her to leave her bookmark as a keepsake. The moment Xiao Xiu handed him the bookmark, it glowed with a bright light, and Chi Yan's mind was flooded with all his past memories of her, including how she saved him and became his "armor."
With tears in his eyes, he embraced her, apologizing for having forgotten her. As the bookmark ascended into the sky, it transformed into a ray of light, from which a woman slowly emerged. Uncle Fu, recognizing her as Moses, the legendary figure on the Meow Planet's top poker ace, was ecstatic. He explained that Moses was the first Meow Planet citizen to form a cat seal.
Moses herself revealed that she had fallen in love with Chi Yan's ancestor, breaking a taboo. She was banished back to the Meow Planet, losing her beloved and living with regret. Before her death, she left the bookmark, wishing that all truly loving humans and Meow Planet citizens could be together forever and that her lover would be protected.
She infused some cat energy into the bookmark, which became the cat seal, protecting the Chi family and allowing cats near them to maintain stable human forms for extended periods. Now that the cat seal had reformed, Xiao Xiu's human form would also be stable. Moses urged Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu to work together to break the dimensional barrier between their worlds and find everlasting happiness before she departed.
With Moses gone, Xiao Xiu no longer needed to return to the Meow Planet. Uncle Fu, however, decided to go back to find Lin Mo and inform Xiao Xiu's parents about her situation. Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu cherished his recovered memories, with Chi Yan happily recounting details from their past to confirm his recollection. Half a month later, their landlord informed them that their building was scheduled for demolition soon, advising them to find a new place quickly.
He kindly offered to return both their current month's rent and deposit. Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu began their enthusiastic house hunt but encountered numerous setbacks. Seeking a break, they went to the beach. There, Xiao Xiu had a strange feeling and soon spotted Ke Bei secretly taking photos of them. While Ke Bei didn't seem to remember them, Chi Yan and Xiao Xiu recognized him as a lawyer.
Ke Bei explained that he simply found their interactions beautiful, especially them holding hands, calling it "love, as good as it can be." Xiao Xiu asked him to print the photos and deliver them in person, not by mail, for fear of them being lost. She gave him He Meng's address. Later, Chi Yan ordered many new and exciting dishes for Xiao Xiu, carefully blowing on her hot scallop porridge.
Xiao Xiu felt incredibly happy, telling Chi Yan that even being scalded by porridge or getting wet at the beach felt more joyful with him. She even joked that even flies were less annoying when she was with him, teasing him for being shy. Unbeknownst to them, Qin Mingming inadvertently saw Lulu with another man. Lulu then introduced her new boyfriend, showing off her engagement ring to a bewildered Xu Zihao.
He couldn't help but wonder if he had wronged her. Lulu simply stated that he couldn't give her "a result," implying their relationship had no future. As he watched the fireworks he had meticulously arranged for Lulu's birthday, costing him a hefty sum, they seemed to mock his efforts. He felt foolish. Qin Mingming confronted him, calling his self-pity "ridiculous." She told him not to punish himself or negate his worth for someone who had given up on him.
She passionately listed his virtues – his kindness, humor, love for animals, and how he bravely helped her catch a thief. Realizing she had said too much, Qin Mingming, embarrassed, quickly ran off. Back at the bookstore, Xiao Xiu, in her cat form, was playfully causing mischief. Chi Yan led her out for ice cream, but they quickly hid upon seeing Ke Bei enter the bookstore.
Xiao Xiu wanted to ensure he didn't realize she had given him He Meng's address. Ke Bei, meanwhile, felt a sense of familiarity upon meeting He Meng. They quickly found common ground, discussing plants, with Ke Bei even quoting Hamlet about rosemary. He asked for her WeChat to get her new shop's address and buy more plants. He Meng then delivered the printed photos to Xiao Xiu, explaining Ke Bei had dropped them off at her shop.
Xiao Xiu explained she gave He Meng's address to avoid any delivery issues while they were busy house-hunting. He Meng offered to help them move after closing her shop that evening, but Xiao Xiu politely declined, mentioning they already had friends assisting.
