Meanwhile, Xu Nuo, viewing Kuang Hu as a valueless venture—a mere combination of "violence and sweat" that didn't earn him money—questioned its long-standing existence. His lawyer and friend, Zhou Yanxin, persuaded him to attend a match, suggesting the club must hold some meaning given its history. Xu Nuo, despite his aversion, reluctantly agreed.
The Dongfang Summit International MMA Championship Semi-finals commenced, featuring Kuang Hu's acclaimed "Goddess of Combat," Li Yunzhu, against the formidable Fei Long team. As Ke Siyi cheered enthusiastically, Xu Nuo quickly grew bored by the "nonsense violence" and decided to leave, believing Li Yunzhu was on the verge of defeat. Ke Siyi, however, recognized her friend's tactical play—feigning weakness to study her opponent before launching a counterattack. Confident in Li Yunzhu's impending turnaround, Ke Siyi also left the venue.
Outside, a loose advertising board nearly struck Xu Nuo, but Ke Siyi swiftly pulled him into an embrace, causing both to tumble to the ground. After an awkward moment, Ke Siyi recognized Xu Nuo as the ruthless new president from the news and seized the opportunity to passionately advocate for Kuang Hu Stadium.

The following day, media reporters ambushed Xu Nuo, bombarding him with questions about a hostile takeover of Hege Media. Ke Siyi suddenly appeared, carrying two boxes of balloons, burst through the crowd, grabbed Xu Nuo's hand, and pulled him away, handing him a helmet. Annoyed by the relentless cameras, Xu Nuo put on the helmet and allowed Ke Siyi to drive him away on her motorcycle. However, her poor driving skills caused them to crash onto a nearby lawn.

Witnessing the recent chaos, Zhou Yanxin suggested Xu Nuo hire a bodyguard, but he paid no heed, engrossed in his new assessment. As they prepared to leave for work, Xu Nuo was annoyed by Ke Siyi’s high-profile attire. He accused her of dressing like she was in a movie and advertising his wealth to potential criminals. Meanwhile, Wu Dongde received news of the meeting but remained unconcerned, confident that his cousin would not betray him. After the negotiation, as Ke Siyi waited for Xu Nuo outside the men's restroom, a young boy accidentally stepped on her foot. Instantly, Xu Nuo, who was inside, cried out in pain due to their shared senses. Ke Siyi rushed in, only to discover it was a false alarm. Back at the company, Wu Dongde offered Xu Nuo the position of General Manager of Hege Media, a strategic sacrifice to prevent him from aiming for the chairmanship. Xu Nuo flatly rejected the offer. Yunzhu, flustered, feigned nonchalance but secretly texted Ke Siyi, demanding she return the bracelet. Zhixiao also sensed Yunzhu's troubled mood. Back at Kuang Hu, the team grapples with Yun Zhu's move to a rival. Lin Wen harshly criticizes Yun Zhu for abandoning them, while Weiwei and Ke Siyi defend her. Ke Siyi argues that joining Black Dragon was Yun Zhu's only chance to pursue her dream as mixed martial arts gains more prominence. Coach Li Da reassures Ke Siyi that he will do his best to protect Kuang Hu.
At Hege Media, the new President Xu Nuo begins a swift and ruthless reform, dissolving several unprofitable subsidiaries, including advertising and fighting teams, leading to widespread layoffs. A director, whose company faces dissolution, desperately pleads with Xu Nuo, explaining his employees are sole providers for their families. Meanwhile, Zhou Yanxin receives news that a new online account called "Tiger's Roar" is libeling Xu Nuo, manipulating public opinion. Xu Nuo remains unconcerned and decides to proceed with an assessment visit to the Kuang Hu gymnasium that afternoon.
