Troubled by Wu Jirong's distrust, Jiang Shenghao expressed his stress, and Chen Jialan promised to resolve the misunderstanding quickly.
Realizing they were being tracked by paparazzi, Chen Jialan insisted she and He Zhengyu leave together. She explained that during a time-space overlap, the He Zhengyu in 2022 would worry if she went missing, as his memories would update in real-time based on her experiences. After detailing his expensive services, he advised her against suing, suggesting that the truth would emerge in three days and the very people slandering her would then rush to her defense. Chen Jialan was amused by his unconventional comfort. He again insisted she take his bed while he slept on the sofa.
Later, He Zhengyu met with Chen Kexin, bluntly stating he knew her relationship with Wu Anwen was fake and presenting photo evidence of their plot to frame Jiang Shenghao, urging her to reveal the truth. To celebrate, they went for barbecue and, upon noticing paparazzi, decided to start a live stream. They acted like a sweet, loving couple, feeding each other and toasting with viewers, captivating the reporters and thwarting their attempts to find dirt.
