> Love Crossed Recap

Following her frustrating encounter with the real Lu Xiao, Jiang Kele immerses herself in the virtual world to retaliate. She confronts the virtual Lu Xiao, but despite her aggressive threats, he responds with unexpected gentleness, telling her that if hitting him would make her happy, she should do it. His affectionate demeanor quickly appeases Jiang Kele, lifting her spirits.

Despite her improved mood, Jiang Kele is still at odds with Lu Xiao and decides to resign from her high-paying cleaning job at Bayhouse. She tells her friend Qiqi that she is unhappy and plans to quit. Qiqi, after feigning support, reveals her keen interest in taking over the lucrative position, which pays five times more than their current job. Their conversation is interrupted by Granny Fu Shun, Bayhouse's owner, who appears unexpectedly.

Aware of the situation, Granny Fu Shun offers Qiqi the job for three times her current pay, boasting that Qiqi could easily replace Jiang Kele. Feeling her position threatened, Jiang Kele immediately rescinds her resignation, announces she is returning to work, and severs her friendship with Qiqi. Meanwhile, Xu Guanghan orders a flourishing plant to be thrown away, remarking that "uncontrollable living creatures can never be as obedient as dead objects," revealing his desire for total control.

Lei Na arrives to deliver a report, offering a choice between "bad news" and "worse news." Xu Guanghan chooses the latter. Lei Na explains that due to frequent server testing, players of the "Love Boys" game are dissatisfied, forcing a temporary halt to all motion capture for the G4 members for a necessary downtime expansion.

The technical department estimated a two-week timeframe, but Lei Na, anticipating Xu Guanghan's impatience, reveals she has already threatened the department into completing the work within one week or face collective resignation. Xu Guanghan praises her decisiveness. Lei Na then delivers the "bad news": online supporters for Guan Qianya have appeared, led by a user named "TakeAGuess." Xu Guanghan dismisses the concern, stating that such online opinions are irrelevant unless they directly impact his business.

Jiang Kele returns to Bayhouse, hoping to finish her cleaning before Lu Xiao and the others return. However, she finds Xu Nian, Su Lie, and Luo Ke having afternoon tea, as Xu Guanghan has given them a week off. When Xu Nian suggests inviting Lu Xiao, Jiang Kele objects, stating he doesn't deserve her waffles.

Xu Nian clarifies that the teddy bear she washed is incredibly important to Lu Xiao, not because of the object itself, but because of the person who gave it to him. The group reassures Jiang Kele by sharing their own humorous anecdotes of Lu Xiao's temper, making her feel better. She pledges to continue bringing them food, and they playfully form a "Victims Alliance," though she declares she will no longer clean Lu Xiao's room.

Later, Jiang Kele confides in Guan Qianya about her conflict with Lu Xiao, describing him as a "colleague" and the teddy bear as a "dirty plush toy." Guan Qianya initially suggests Jiang Kele was in the wrong for washing an item without permission but quickly reverses her stance, declaring that "a woman can never be wrong" and she will always take her side.

She advises Jiang Kele to be "petty at times and generous at other times" and to let the issue go. During their talk, Guan Qianya is seen taking sleeping pills, hinting at her own hidden struggles with insomnia. Attempting to reconcile, Jiang Kele brings Lu Xiao milk tea, telling him it will "wipe clean" their grudges. Lu Xiao refuses it.

When Xu Nian and Su Lie appear, Lu Xiao offers them the drink if they carry Jiang Kele out of his room. Fearing the loss of their food supply, they retreat. Lu Xiao then takes matters into his own hands, physically lifting Jiang Kele out of his room and placing her on the living room sofa. Online support for Guan Qianya intensifies after an article titled "Demystifying Guan Qianya's Criticisms on Yao Inc. For Self-Interest" goes viral.

Her manager, Cui, reveals he is the "TakeAGuess" supporter. To counter negative perceptions, Cui arranges an interview with a top journalist from Follow News Site, who is his ex-wife's best friend. However, the journalist is confrontational, questioning Guan Qianya's motives. Guan Qianya candidly admits her self-interest, explaining she is speaking out now because the "knife" of the game's negative impact has finally "hit her." When the journalist asks if she has played "Love Boys," Guan Qianya dismisses it as "trash."

The journalist retorts, asking if that means her company was defeated by "trash." Guan Qianya fires back, asking if that same "trash" also caused the journalist's best friend's divorce, alluding to Cui's painful past. Following the interview's publication, Lei Na informs Xu Guanghan that Wang Qichuan, a once-popular singer and now an adversary, has shared the article and urged his fans to support Guan Qianya. Xu Guanghan dismisses Qichuan as "obsolete."

Seeking to regain relevance, Qichuan approaches Guan Qianya, proposing a collaboration. He reveals his true motivation: he wants her to join him in defeating Xu Guanghan. Amid these developments, Xu Guanghan summons Xu Nian for a private meeting, expressing his deep trust in him before assigning him a highly important and secret task.
