Jiang Kele discovered Guan Qianya’s secret map, realizing she intended to visit Xu Nian at Bayhouse. Kele initially tried to convince Qianya that the Xu Nian she knew in the game was merely a virtual character and that she shouldn't be so fixated.
However, Qianya revealed that this wasn't an obsession but a desperate need to confirm if the person who had cured her insomnia in the game was the real Xu Nian, especially given her current public humiliation and company closure. Understanding Qianya’s deep-seated grievance, Kele agreed to help her meet Xu Nian safely in exchange for a drink. The two then went out to a bar.
The next day, Jiang Kele arrived at Bayhouse suffering from a severe hangover, feeling nauseous and vomiting. Su Lie and Luo Ke, unfamiliar with the concept of a hangover, became curious. Kele explained the delightful and easy feeling that comes with drinking, and they were intrigued, asking her to bring them liquor next time. Lu Xiao, learning that honey helps with hangovers, quietly went to the tea room and prepared a full dispenser of honey water for Kele.
Kele was touched by his thoughtful gesture. After recovering slightly, she remembered her promise to Guan Qianya and went to Xu Nian’s room. She pretended to clean his room but closed and locked the door, much to Lu Xiao’s confusion. Inside, Kele explained to Xu Nian that her visit was a secret from the others.
She then spun a tale about a friend who perfectly matched Xu Nian's previously stated ideal girlfriend criteria, describing her as hygienic, gentle, and tasteful, and willing to grow out her short hair for him. Xu Nian initially dismissed his past comments, stating he hadn’t been serious. He then inquired how many best friends Kele had, to which she replied, "Only one." Xu Nian eventually agreed to meet this friend for ten minutes at 10 p. m.
that night, provided Kele could ensure total secrecy. Later that night, Kele and Xu Nian prepared to sneak out. They first encountered a sleepwalking Su Lie, and then Lu Xiao emerged to watch television in the living room. Realizing Lu Xiao wouldn't be returning to his room anytime soon, Kele decided to distract him.
She gave Xu Nian instructions: he was to place something into a piggy bank, then push aside a painting on the right side of the wall, and walk straight to the end of the tunnel where Guan Qianya awaited. Kele then initiated a conversation with Lu Xiao, who questioned her secretive behavior with Xu Nian earlier. Kele teased him, asking if he was jealous, which he denied.
To further divert his attention, she provocatively took his beloved teddy bear, claiming it was dirty and needed washing. Lu Xiao, frantic, chased her to retrieve it. During the chase, Kele slipped near the pool, and Lu Xiao grabbed her to prevent her from falling, resulting in an accidental kiss between them. Meanwhile, Xu Nian, taking advantage of the distraction, met Guan Qianya in the secret passage.
Qianya immediately pressed him, asking if he was the one who had chatted with her, put her to bed, and danced with her in the game. Xu Nian initially tried to deflect, stating he was merely there as a favor to Jiang Kele. He began to walk away, but then turned back and admitted, "It was me who interacted with you in the game."
Qianya's suspicions were confirmed, and she realized the true Xu Nian had been deliberately interacting with her in the game, likely as part of Xu Guanghan's scheme to manipulate and bring her down. Jiang Kele, arriving at the scene, tried to engage Qianya in conversation, but Qianya was too absorbed in her own thoughts, barely hearing Kele’s words, who mistakenly believed Qianya had fallen in love with Xu Nian.
The next morning, Granny Fu Shun unexpectedly arrived at Xu Guanghan's home, having prepared a lavish breakfast. She playfully prevented him from eating, claiming it was all for her, and repeatedly reminded him of her past kindness, specifically how he had lived in her house for "fifteen years eight months eight days and eight hours." She pressed him to complete his plan, expressing frustration over repeated contract extensions.
Xu Guanghan assured her that he could "see the light at the end of the tunnel." Later, Guan Qianya summoned Lisa to her office. Cui Hengzhi attempted to physically remove Lisa, accusing her of colluding with Yao Inc. to frame Guan Qianya and cause her public humiliation. Qianya intervened, stopping him. Lisa confessed to secretly swapping Qianya's contact lenses to gain a "lavender member" status but vehemently denied telling anyone about Qianya playing the game.
She suggested that the person who purchased the equipment, Cui Hengzhi, might be the leaker. Qianya, realizing she had been set up, clarified that she was merely trying to scare Lisa. Despite Lisa's partial confession, Qianya decided to fire her specifically for the contact lens swap. She then instructed Cui Hengzhi to contact her ex-wife's friend, a reporter, and inform her that she was prepared to expose major information about Xu Guanghan.
