> Listening Snow Tower Recap

Having officially become the leader of Moon Sect, Ming He declared that her mother, Hua Lian, had been deliberately murdered. She identified the killer as Xue Wen, the former Star Reader of Moon Sect, who had defected for a love affair with Snow Tower's Master, Xiao Shi Shui. Ming He condemned Xue Wen's unforgivable sins and announced that Snow Tower was the true mastermind behind Hua Lian's death.

She swore to the Moon God that Moon Sect would defeat Snow Tower, capture Xiao Yiqing – the son of the rebel – and offer his head to honor Hua Lian's spirit. To assert her authority, Ming He publicly reprimanded Bing Ling, holding her responsible for Hua Lian's tragic death due to her negligence in overseeing Xue Wen. As Ming He prepared to inflict punishment, Gu Guang bravely stepped forward, shielding Bing Ling and offering to take the penalty himself.

Ming He accepted, but then ordered Bing Ling to be confined to Hong Lian Prison, to be a lifelong companion to the traitor Xue Wen. Gu Guang harbored deep resentment towards Ming He for this. Subsequently, Ming He appointed Jia Ruo as the High Priest of Moon Sect, entrusting him with the sacred relic, the Moon Soul, a position her mother had to bear alone due to lack of a suitable candidate, which had taken a toll on her health.

Meanwhile, Nan Chu informed Shu Jingrong that Xiao Yiqing was trapped in Flower Palace. He also reported that Hua Lian's death, now blamed on Xue Wen, put Xue Wen in grave danger. Shu Jingrong, concerned, speculated that a conflict between Snow Tower and Moon Sect might benefit a third party. She convened a meeting, where she announced a plan. She reiterated that Xiao Yiqing had appointed her as Lady of Snow Tower, making her the highest authority in his absence.

Chi Xiaotai, initially defiant and questioning Shu Jingrong's authority, reluctantly submitted after Nan Chu and others knelt in allegiance. Shu Jingrong dispatched Nan Chu to locate Doctor Xue, a renowned expert in exotic flowers and medicine, as the poisons of Flower Palace were rumored to be incurable without his specific knowledge.

She then assigned Gao Huan, Xue Gu, Chi Xiaotai, Huang Quan, and Hong Chen to form a rescue team for Xiao Yiqing at Flower Palace, while instructing Gao Mengfei to remain at Snow Tower to recover from his recent illness. Ming He later visited Xue Wen in Hong Lian Prison. Xue Wen defiantly stated that she had only complied with Ming He's demands because her life was threatened with Xiao Yiqing's fate.

She warned Ming He that if she were to become as ruthless and self-serving as Hua Lian, Moon Sect would face destruction and her loved ones would abandon her. Ming He, unsettled by Xue Wen's prophecy, considered killing her to silence her. However, Jia Ruo intervened, cautioning Ming He that killing would not solve her problems and that Xue Wen was valuable as a bargaining chip against Xiao Yiqing, especially with Snow Tower now being their enemy.

Ming He confided in Jia Ruo about her fears and loneliness as a leader. Jia Ruo encouraged her not to emulate Hua Lian's cruelty, emphasizing that Moon Sect's strength was not built on mercilessness. He suggested seeking alliances, like with Flower Palace, to counter Snow Tower. Convinced, Ming He relented. Jia Ruo then returned the Moon Soul to Ming He, insisting she needed it more as the embodiment of the Sect's spirit.

Elsewhere, Ming Che, reflecting on Hua Lian, lamented that he never had the chance to gift her the Azure Azalea seeds he'd obtained, hoping to make her smile. He informed Ming He that Xiao Yin was his foster daughter and the Young Palace Mistress of Flower Palace, whom he raised to compensate for his regrets regarding Hua Lian and Ming He.

He explained that Hua Lian had desired the Moon God Flower to bloom earlier to help her master the Xuan Yin Heart Sutra, and since Madam Long's Azure Azalea had a similar effect, he had sent Xiao Yin to the Long family to acquire it. He then revealed that Xiao Yiqing was imprisoned in Flower Palace thanks to Xiao Yin's assistance. Ming He expressed a desire to visit Xiao Yiqing, which Ming Che readily approved.

In the dungeon of Flower Palace, Xiao Yin found Xiao Yiqing seemingly lifeless. As she checked his breath, he suddenly sprang up and seized her by the neck. Xiao Yiqing accused her of framing him for murder, a claim she dismissed by stating he wouldn't live long even if freed, and suggested he stay a while longer to benefit from Flower Palace's medicine for his cold virus. Xiao Yiqing, unafraid of death, demanded she release his chains.

In her struggle, Xiao Yin dropped a pouch embroidered with "Bi Luo." Xiao Yiqing immediately recognized the name of the renowned Jiangnan swordsman, realizing he was the person Xiao Yin wanted to trade him for. Xiao Yiqing pressed Xiao Yin for the exit to Flower Palace, but she insisted escape was impossible from the mountain palace without a guide.

He then mentioned Bi Luo, explaining that Snow Tower had once sought to recruit the talented swordsman, but Bi Luo had refused, choosing instead to wander the Central Plains, offending many, all in search of his beloved, Xiao Yin. Xiao Yiqing offered to arrange a meeting between them. Meanwhile, Jia Ruo found Ming He contemplating by a pond. He offered to lead the expedition to Flower Palace, citing his superior martial skills.

Ming He, however, refused, stating she couldn't risk him encountering anyone from Snow Tower, fearing it would stir up endless troubles. She insisted on going herself to establish her authority as the new leader and win over Flower Palace. Jia Ruo, expressing his unwavering commitment, promised to dedicate his life to protecting her. Later that night, while Jia Ruo slept, Ming He secretly used acupuncture to seal away his memories.

She believed this act was for his own good, ensuring he wouldn't mourn Shu Jingrong's death when she executed her plan to kill her, and would remain loyal to Moon Sect. Suddenly, Ming Che arrived in the dungeon and launched an attack on Xiao Yiqing, accusing him of being a sworn enemy due to his lineage from Xiao Shi Shui.

Ming Che blamed Xiao Shi Shui for his and Hua Lian's predicament and vowed to kill Xiao Yiqing to avenge Hua Lian's death, which he wrongly attributed to Xue Wen. Xiao Yiqing vehemently denied Xue Wen's involvement. Xiao Yin intervened, persuading Ming Che that simply killing Xiao Yiqing was too merciful; instead, he should be kept alive to witness Xue Wen's demise, offering a more profound revenge.

Ming Che agreed, reaffirming his resolve to destroy Snow Tower and make Xiao Yiqing witness the destruction of his father's life's work. He instructed Xiao Yin to administer the Frozen Flower Elixir to Xiao Yiqing, ensuring he suffered but remained alive. After Ming Che departed, Xiao Yiqing shrewdly deduced that Ming Che was not Xiao Yin's biological father, noting Ming Che's utter disregard for Xiao Yin's safety during his attack.

At Feng Qing Garden, Shu Jingrong sought out Bi Luo, a famous swordsman known for his music and martial arts. She claimed to have information about Xiao Yin. Bi Luo, having been misled many times in his search for Xiao Yin, was skeptical until Shu Jingrong showed him a portrait, confirming it was indeed the woman he sought.

Shu Jingrong revealed that Xiao Yin was with the Long family of South Sea, having been sold in the black market and later becoming Madam Long's maid. She insinuated Xiao Yin was involved in a murder at the Long family estate, which Bi Luo found difficult to believe, insisting Xiao Yin was a frail woman from Nanjiang. Shu Jingrong then asked if he had met Xiao Yin in Nanjiang. Bi Luo, meanwhile, continued to play his zither, reflecting on his relentless search for his soulmate.
