Wu Shuangbao trapped Luan Yi at Futu Temple, while Lao Lin was released after his injuries healed. He knelt and thanked Wu Shuangbao for saving his life twice and decided to retire from then on. Luan Yi's waist token was also sent to the inn by him at Wu Shuangbao's request, so that the Imperial Guards who searched for Luan Yi later could see it.
