Shen Yuanqing was captured by Li Gucheng, taken away, and locked up. He wondered why he was taken into the Thousand Machine Black Brake just for losing a street. Li Gucheng mocked him, saying he only paid attention to his own Lingtai and didn't know that the Hall of Heroes had been hunting Cao Yanbing. If he could tell them Cao Yanbing's whereabouts, Li Gucheng said he could intercede for him.

Shen Yuanqing recalled that Xia Ling had told him before that Cao Yanbing was going to Luhuagucheng. After Li Gucheng informed the superior "Big Sister" about this, he learned that Cao Yanbing would likely go to find Beiluo, who was familiar with the Spiritual Crossroads, to ask for directions, so they prepared to go to Leiquan Street to capture Cao Yanbing. Leiquan Street is a central hub in the Spiritual Crossroads with a huge flow of people.

A homeless man stumbled along the street. He went to a tavern and asked the owner for two bottles of wine. The owner told him that the money he had deposited there before had run out. He immediately took out a money bag and poured out a lot of gold for the owner, telling him to keep the excess. Inside the tavern, two people had been watching him for several days.

Seeing that he had so much gold on him, they prepared to make their move, but seeing him carelessly display his wealth, they feared he had something to rely on. His accomplice said there was nothing to worry about, he was just a drunkard. They had followed him for days and he did nothing but drink. The two followed the drunkard to a dilapidated temple and saw that he had finished his wine and lay down, asleep.

The two searched the drunkard's body. When they reached out to pull the necklace he was wearing around his neck, the drunkard spoke up, telling them they could take the money but could not touch him again. After saying this, he fell asleep again. Just as the two were about to leave, a father and daughter entered. The two immediately had lustful thoughts and wanted to attack the girl.

The drunkard was initially unconcerned, but hearing the girl's cry for help reminded him of his own daughter. He then summoned his Guardian Spirit and taught the two a lesson. It turned out that this drunkard was Beiluo. Beiluo had previously been captured by Nan Yufu and had the Soul Locking Stone placed on him, and his daughter Shui'er was also captured. Shui'er saw someone hitting her father and stepped forward to protect him, but was beaten herself.

Beiluo told Shui'er not to worry about him and to leave quickly. Shui'er saw Nan Yufu about to shoot and kill her father and used her body to shield him, ultimately dying in Beiluo's arms. From then on, Beiluo lived in regret and guilt, drinking heavily every day to drown his sorrows and living a muddle-headed life. Cao Yanbing sadly said that there was actually one place he couldn't go, and that was Rakshasa Street. Cao Yanbing had sent many letters to Beiluo but received no reply. Xia Ling felt that since Beiluo loved to drink, they should try inquiring at a tavern. Cao Yanbing said that with so many people in a tavern every day, how could the owner possibly remember everyone, so they should inquire with someone from the Jianghu.

Just then, they saw two hoodlums dressed in a shabby manner walking over. Cao Yanbing asked them for information, but who knew, when the two heard they were from out of town, they tried to rob them. They were ultimately beaten severely and learned that Beiluo was in Leigong Temple. These two were the same people who had been severely beaten by Beiluo earlier. Cao Yanbing and Xia Ling arrived at Leigong Temple but did not find Beiluo.

The father and daughter in the temple told them that Beiluo hadn't returned since the day he saved them. Knowing that Beiluo had left with wine last time and drank every day, they prepared to ask at a tavern. They found the tavern owner and inquired, learning that Beiluo came here to buy wine every day. They decided to wait for Beiluo at the tavern. The owner recommended Mengquan Wine to them, saying it was brewed with Mengquan water.

After drinking Mengquan water, dreams were especially beautiful, and the more one drank, the longer the beautiful dreams lasted, but drinking too much would result in never waking up from the dream and then dying. Cao Yanbing received a letter from Beiluo telling them to find him at Mengquan. When the two arrived, they found Beiluo lying on the ground after drinking Mengquan water and couldn't wake him up no matter how they called him. Li Gucheng had also arrived here by this time.
