Yan Ruofu reminded Cao Yanbing and the two others that once they entered the trial, it was equivalent to signing a life-and-death contract. Whether they lived or died was none of the Tafeng tribe's business. They were entering the Forest of the Void God. Once inside, their Guardian Spirits would be sealed, and they wouldn't be able to use Spirit Power. She told them to think carefully.

The three of them chose to enter the Forest of the Void God without hesitation. As soon as they entered a forest, a sword appeared. The sword heard Cao Yanbing's voice and attacked him. No matter where he ran, the sword chased him. Beiluo stopped them from making noise, and then the sword stopped. It turned out the sword identified targets through sound.

Plum blossom was worth four points, orchid three points, bamboo two points, and chrysanthemum one point. Xia Ling and Beiluo both won easily. However, the cards they drew disappeared. This significantly reduced Cao Yanbing's chances of winning. Unless he drew a plum blossom, he would definitely lose.

Cao Yanbing told Beiluo and Xia Ling to go hold open the barrier first so it wouldn't close, saying he had already drawn a plum blossom and was guaranteed to win. The two went to the barrier to wait for Cao Yanbing. Only when they paired up did they realize that they had already drawn all the plum blossoms and that Cao Yanbing had lied to them.

The examiner here told Cao Yanbing that his companions must have known that all the plum blossoms were gone, but since they hadn't returned, they must have abandoned him and left. In the end, Cao Yanbing did lose, but the examiner said they had won and let them leave.

Yan Lingyu told Yan Ruofu that the reason she let Cao Yanbing and the two others enter the trial was to seal them inside.

As long as the scroll was sealed with blood, the trial participants would be permanently trapped inside. Yan Lingyu told Yan Ruofu to quickly seal the scroll with blood. Yan Ruofu felt that harming Cao Yanbing and the two others this way was wrong. Yan Lingyu said that only by doing this could she protect Lingfeng Street. If Yan Ruofu was so soft-hearted, she couldn't be a Spiritual Guardian. Yan Ruofu was forced to reluctantly seal the scroll with blood.

--- Cao Yanbing and the two others were about to exit the trial but entered another illusion. They saw Yan Ruofu and Qiaoqiao when they were young. Yan Ruofu followed Qiaoqiao into a room. A fierce beast resided within Yan Fengzha's body. He couldn't control the power within him, so he would lose control and release the beast to harm people, which was why he was locked up.

Qiaoqiao told Yan Ruofu that because Tang Xiaoxiao saved the people of Lingfeng Street, she was taking them to the Luhuagou building, and she hoped that after she left, Ruofu could often come and visit Fengzha. Because Yan Fengzha's power awakened within him and he couldn't control it, Yan Tianyue wanted to kill him but was stopped by Yan Lingyu, who said that Fengzha was the only guide in the clan and it was God's will.

Yan Tianyue also didn't want to kill his son, but because he was the Spiritual Guardian of Lingfeng Street, for the safety of Lingfeng Street, he had to kill Fengzha. It turned out that what the three of them saw at the end were all Yan Ruofu's memories. Earlier, when Yan Lingyu forced Yan Ruofu to seal the scroll with blood, she used Zhuoying to create an illusion so her mother would see that she had sealed the scroll, but in reality, she had Zhuoying show her memories to the three people.

Cao Yanbing was angry that she went through such a big detour just to tell them that Yan Fengzha was the guide and she was a fake. Beiluo comforted Cao Yanbing, saying that since Yan Ruofu told them the truth, she still considered them friends. The three asked Yan Ruofu what happened to Yan Fengzha in the end.

Yan Ruofu said that later she heard from her mother that Fengzha completely lost control of his power and broke free from the chains, and her uncle still killed Yan Fengzha. So now there was no guide in the Tafeng tribe. She hoped the three of them would still leave Lingfeng Street. Hearing Yan Ruofu's words, Cao Yanbing couldn't control his anger and wanted to confront Yan Lingyu.

He could forgive Yan Ruofu for being forced, but Yan Lingyu knew everything and still deceived them. Xia Ling asked Yan Ruofu if her mother knew that she had told them the truth. Yan Ruofu shook her head helplessly. Xia Ling hugged her and said thank you. Afterward, she also chased after the other two to find Yan Lingyu.
